July The Goodies Co.
July The Goodies Co.

My July Goodies Co. box came on the early side this month. I’ve been so busy with all my other boxes that I didn’t even have a chance to do any scouting of it either!

The Smaller Box

Goodies Co. shipped in a smaller than normal box this month, but still used their normal FedEx Smart Post. It was actually quite speedy this month and arrived a few days before it was scheduled to per the online tracking.

First Look

I wasn’t overly excited by the first look, but I didn’t think anything looked gross either.  While I wasn’t disappointed, I wasn’t ready to tear into the box and try everything either.

The Note

It appears that Goodies knows people are going to be asking about the smaller box, so they went ahead and explained that when they have smaller treats, they’ll send smaller boxes.  But they still will also use the big box when necessary.  Using the smaller boxes when appropriate will allow them to continue to reduce waste, which I don’t see how anyone could complain about.  Here is what my box (Tasters Box #3) included:

~Orange Mango FruitWater:  L loves this stuff (and I will admit it’s quite tasty), so I am saving this for him.  He thinks all bubbly / sparkling drinks are “soda”.  I have no idea who would have told him this (wink, wink), but I’m going with it for as long as it lasts.

~Cherry Lovers by Gimbal’s: I didn’t expect to like these as much as I did.  They are cherry jelly bean like, but aren’t exactly the same. I probably wouldn’t seek this out on my own just to snack on, but I wouldn’t mind finding some around Valentine’s Day goody bags either.

~Cinnamon Crunch by Cosmo Creations: I’ve tried the Salted Caramel flavor and really enjoyed it, but since I like to try new stuff I was happy to see that I got a different flavor this time.  It’s not as good as Salted Caramel, but it’s still good.

~Jalapeño and Sea Salt Chips by Sugar Foods: These are quite tasty and I wouldn’t be sad is someone came over with a big bag of these and some homemade guacamole.  Just saying.

~Grain Crisps Original by Crunchmaster: I haven’t eaten this specific bag of crackers yet, but I have had these before (KLUTCHclub maybe) and they are just crackers to me.  Perhaps with a huge hunk of cheese I would think they were amazing, but that wouldn’t be fair ;).
