Eek! The July PopSugar Must Have Box spoilers are here (thank you RachelNYC and mishmish over at MUT)! The July Box is their first anniversary and I know it’s a highly anticipated box so let’s get started. Here’s what’s included:

All totaled, the July PopSugar Must Have Box has a value of $102.24! As always I will post my thoughts on the items once I get the box in my hands, but as always, I am excited!!! What do you think from the initial spoilers??
I do like some of the items but its not as exciting as I thought it would be considering it was their 1 year anniversary. I wish they had included the beach bag that was given out at the popsugar chicago event. That was super cute and something I feel like everyone would get use out of.
Although the value is decent this seems super unimpressive. I think we all hyped it up in or heads and I think pop sugar used all there tricks on may and june. This box for me personally will mostly likely all be given away since the jewelry is not to my taste, I don’t like tea, don’t need more ice cube trays. I’ll have to wait until I get my box to decide about the rest.
I’ll be unsubscribbing again. I’m very dissapointed in the box. I’m over getting tea and nail polish every other box. That and soap of some sort. I’ll bet they include another bar of soap next month.
Ummm… Idk how to feel.. I like getting one big ticket item per box, but everything is kinda meh. I’m sure ill love it all tho! Always do!
Is there just one box of tea? It’s a case of six boxes that costs $27. A box is only worth 6.25. Still – that and the ice cube tray may be my favorites in this box. I hope it’s a great sunscreen too – that will be handy in Miami this summer!
I feel the same way as Katy. I was highly anticipating this box, especially since it was the anniversary box and the June box got such amazing reviews. These items are okay but don’t have the gasp factor that I got with the June box.
Is the necklace rose gold or is that just the name? I clicked the link but still was not sure.
@Hillary: if the value is $28.00 it is probably rose gold colored. Can’t imagine getting a real gold necklace valued at $28.00

Thanks for the post. It looks like it will be ok but not fabulous. I am a little disappointed but that may be a good thing. At least I will not be wanting to leave vacation early to come home & open it!!
Thank you Jennifer! You gave me my first look at PS JULY and I do love all the items. Is it just me or does it seem a little shy this month? 🙁 Katy was absolutely right about a tote to tie it all together… and more than a little anticlimactic after all the MUT about the anniversary month. Maybe Popsugar is lowering their standard as an “outstanding” value box for the price of $38 and aiming towards $100-ish as the true target value. I think for the first time ever I will happily use every product and not be inclined to “gift” any, lol. Nice blog BTW!
I got my box today too, and thought it was kind of meh, considering it was their 1st anniversary box. I happened to get lucky on the color / flavor combos though. I got a blue ice tray, dark chocolate cookies & peach tea, which happen to be my favorites. Did everyone get these? It looks like they could be different based on the spoiler pictures.
I think making sunscreen the most expensive item in the box is a let down. Sunscreen is one of those items that can be just as good purchased from Target (even though I am guilty of already purchasing some Supergoop for my face). I signed up for my first box in late June and it sounded like I wouldn’t get my box until August. I clicked early ship if available and am really hoping this WILL NOT be available 🙂 Is there a way to guarantee they do not early ship?
I thought that everyone was way overthinking the anniversary box thing, but I was hoping I was wrong! This is one of the most disappointing (and lowest value) boxes yet in my opinion. I’ll wait until my box arrives before making final judgement, but I do know this isn’t my favorite. Ah, well, there’s always next month!
Just received the July PopSugar Must Have Box. I have to say that I really love it. The necklace is a heavy rose gold chain which I will get lots of wear from. The ice tea and large cube ice tray is perfect for my neighborhood’s “Freaky Fridays” wine, cheese and whatever you please parties. The color of nail polish I received is a lavender color- which, surprisingly, looks good on me. I haven’t tried the dark chocolate cookie crisps yet- they look good though. I’ve used the sunscreen before and it’s okay. I’m very impressed!
I am VERY DISAPPOINTED by this box, I have been a loyal fan of PopSugar since August and this is a let down. I know they were not going to go big but I thought at least continue the flow of amazing boxes from May and June and the Summer Edition. I even emailed ideas for the box, I guess they didn’t like. I don’t have my box yet so we shall see when I actual have it in my hands. Maybe August will blow us away and make up for July.
I have to say it looks disappointing. I’ve never said that about their box.
Blah, this box is kinda disappointing. However, with that said, I know the perfect recipient for that necklace , so into the christmas gift box it goes. Also, as a polish addict, the nail polish is a welcome item in the box. I’m sure I’ll use everything else, just not “wowed” with any of it.
What a disappointing box. It’s like popsugar has 2 good months followed by a very crappy month. Seriously, ice cube trays??? And another nail polish in a box? Seriously, how many do they think we need. This box has made me cancel my membership.
I was really looking forward to this box since it is the anniversary box. I am not really excited about it now. It will come while I am on vacation, I don’t think I will be itching to get my hands on it. After the May and June Box this is sort of a let down. I am not complaining about a $45 sunscreen but after getting a full size moisturizer in the June box you figure they would switch stuff up a bit. I also think that necklace is fug. I could pick out a dozen or more necklaces from bauble bar that would have been better.
Oh NO! i totally was expecting something FABULOUS!!! Its my mos bday this month and i WAS gonna give her my box this month…but SHE WOULD BE PI$$ED if i gave her this LOL o_o by the looks of it im gonna have to keep this box for myself ….well…pop sugar did tell me that AUG had a “special extra gift” that my mom would really like… I hope next month is awesome i really wanna impress my mom! :/
The only thing I can say about this box is that I guess I need to buy some popsicle sticks so the kids can make juice pops in the freezer with that lame ice cube tray holder. This is by far one of the crappiest boxes ever. I am so over the food stuff. And I honestly don’t need ANOTHER bottle of nail polish….
While, I’m not blown away by this month’s box, I’m sure I’ll use everything.
The ice cube tray looks suspiciously similar to the ice cube trays that were in the Men’s Luxury Box this past Christmas – not that I mind; the hubs and I use those trays ALL THE TIME… the larger ice cubes are slower to melt which means drinks stay colder longer and cocktails don’t get watered down quite as quickly.
I’m also amused by the Supergoop. I literally JUST bought that exact product from Amazon a week or two ago. Oh well, I guess I’m stocked up for the year now.
And even though I know the necklace cannot possibly be real gold, I’ve been looking to build a set of rose gold jewelry… between this necklace, the gorjana coupon from last month and the charm & chain coupon from the summer box, I think I can swing a pair of earrings and coordinating bracelet or ring so, I’m psyched.
Everything else, will be eaten/used so I guess I can’t really complain, but I was kinda hoping for something really awesome and unexpected. Maybe next month.
Meh. Though I’m not as adverse to the square ice cube tray as others…something that would work in a pitcher of summer punch etc. Will give more of a review once it arrives.
I was so bummed when I re activated my account and couldn’t get the July box!! But frankly I’m relieved right now this is definitely one of their worse boxes! Right up there with the box where we got the garmento bag.
I received a 3 month gift subscription. June was very nice, July was disappointing… Necklace looks cheap, tea, nail polish…. Really … If next month is as disappointing I will not renew it.
I got my box today, and I really love the necklace, actually! I will use the sunscreen and obviously eat the snacks, but I agree a tote would have been a great way to tie it all together! I have been thinking of extending my sub as this is my last box of a 3 month sub, but maybe not…
My friend recommended I try PopSugar and I received the June and July boxes. not as impressive as the few she received prior to my joining. Hope they get better.
SPOILER ALERT!!! I just got an email from Pop Sugar that in my August box I will get a must have anniversary gift in my August box — a Gorjana & Griffin open circle necklace valued at $65!
Well, I cancelled my subscription after this box, so… if I want an ice cube tray I can get one at the supermarket. Same with the iced tea. The necklace is cheap-looking and I will NEVER wear it. I will probably use the sunscreen. Will not use the nail lacquer. So basically the box is full of stuff I would never have bought for myself in a million years.
Tried PopSugar for 3 months and am pretty unimpressed. Not worth it.
This was my very first popsugar box and I was pretty disappointed. Despite the fact that I really needed an ice tray and suntan lotion, I wouldn’t have paid that much for it!
On another note, I was really confused when they sent out the ‘Here’s our Anniversary Gift” email that said they would place the anniversary necklace in the August box. They wrote me back stating that, although July was their anniversary, they would be kicking off their second year with a special gift within the August box. So basically, this was not an anniversary box and they will not be having an actual anniversary box.
