My crazy Fancy Box week ended today with the arrival of my June Jennifer Love Hewitt Fancy Box. I was anxious to see what she selected this month (well last month), since May’s items were just kind of meh. I mean a bright orange winter hat in June? I was hoping it was a little case of pregnancy brain.
Fancy Box ships via FedEx Home Delivery and I love that they deliver on Saturdays. You get the benefit of quick shipping AND you can get it delivered on a Saturday. Love that. This box was super heavy – way heavier than my other Fancy boxes have been, so I was now even more curious to see what was inside.
I had not seen any spoilers for the June JLH Fancy Box (does anyone else get this box?), so I was going totally blind into the first look. And I was totally thrilled by what I saw! Totally thrilled actually!
Although there were only four items in this box, I didn’t even care because I loved them all so much. Oh and I keep forgetting to mention, but Fancy now includes a prepaid return label in all Fancy boxes. Rumor is you can return your full box for a refund or just individual items for a partial refund. I have never tried this and have zero idea how it would work, but I might give it a try eventually just to see what happens.
Here is what the June Jennifer Love Hewitt Fancy Box included:
~Babycakes Waffle Stick Maker ($19.99): I have a BabyCakes cake pop maker and a few other makers of this nature (I think I even have a crepe maker and a waffle cone maker), but not a waffle sticker maker! L is going to love making and eating waffles from this. I actually want to use this tomorrow morning and need to make sure we have waffle stuff for it.
~Cupcakes and Cashmere by Emily Shuman ($14.68): I have heard mixed things about this book and went back and forth on buying it a few times but luckily I never did because here it is! I sometimes read C&C and would love to be as chic as her so hopefully a little of it rubs off when I read the entire book. Oh and I also think it’s super cool that JLH picked a book by a blogger to include in here!
~Nylon Pack Cloth Gym Bag ($18): This isn’t the fanciest gym bag out there by any means, but it is pink so that totally scores points with me. I don’t go to the gym (I should though), but I use gym bags quite often for this and that, so I love this. And heck, maybe it will inspire me to go to the gym? We’ll see!
~Interlink Hematite Cuff ($25): There isn’t a price listed for this on Fancy and I can’t find it anywhere else online, so I am estimating it’s about $25. That’s about all I’d personally pay for it, but something tells me it retails for more than that. I really like this and will for sure wear it.
All totaled, I came up with a value of $77.67 for the June Jennifer Love Hewitt Fancy Box. Would I have paid $77,67 for the box? No. But I am beyond happy with the $46.95 ($39 for the box, plus $7.95 shipping) I did pay. I would love it though if Fancy Box would ditch that shipping fee.
