~We had a pretty busy weekend around here! B ran in the Tough Mudder so that took up most of his Saturday and the boys and I just hung out and played. We had a birthday party to attend on Sunday so I took the boys to that while B stayed home and did some stuff around the house (he’s say a lot of stuff, I’d say some). And then B and L (and the furries) headed up north and are currently enjoying some Pure Michigan summer fun!
~Since it’s a holiday week, I am guessing things will be a little slow subscription box wise? I am expecting Julep (today), Tyler Florence Fancy Box (tomorrow), and Stork Stack (I’d guess Wednesday or Friday). And maybe Bonjour Jolie? And hopefully The Little Book Club. But that’s it! I have a few reviews I am working on, including The Bouqs. I wanted to wait till their flowers were on their last leg to do the review because I wanted to show how long they lasted, but they certainly don’t show any signs the end is near at all!
~I got an e-mail earlier in the week about a Mystery Box from MeUndies.com and finally went for it last night. It’s $50 and promises $100 worth of MeUndies goodies. I got a Men’s one for B, but they have Women’s ones as well. Although it says coupon codes aren’t allowed on mystery boxes, it allowed me to use the code “ILUVCOX” (seriously that is the code. I found it on some coupon code site) to get 30% off, bring the box down to $35. (It doesn’t work anymore). Shipping is free.
~So now that Jessica Simpson (in case you missed it, she had her son yesterday) and Kim Kardashian had their babies, Kate Middleton is totally next! I am excited to hear the name that they come up with and I can’t even imagine having the world knowing that I am in labor. I’m pretty sure only my parents knew when I was in labor with WB and that’s because we had to drop L off there before heading to the hospital. And since he was born so fast I didn’t have time to screw around on Facebook or anything. But back to Kate. I am guessing girl and that she will be back to her pre-pregnancy weight in two weeks.
~My friend Jackie and her boyfriend just opened a farm (is that the correct wording?) in the Western Suburbs of Chicago, so if you live near there go check out Strom Family Farm! That’s what we need to do this summer! Go visit a farm and go to a Farmer’s Market! I need to add that to my bucket list for sure!
~WB and I have some errands to run today, including going to the post office and Target (totally his idea) and maybe we’ll head to the park. It’s much more fun at the park and play areas now that he can walk. I am guessing he wants to go back to the fountains again, but we’ll have to wait for his brother for that ;).

Bummer; they fixed the coupon glitch at meundies for the mystery box and you can’t use it now (at least I couldn’t). Awesome that it worked for you, though! 🙂

Jessica Simpson was pregnant again?? How did I miss this?
We have a Fourth of July Slide-a-Bration party to go to. It boasts a 75 foot long Slip N Slide that is sure to me amusing! We will be moving the baby to his own room tonight :/ and we are celebrating his half birthday with an awesome party this weekend!

I thought they said that Kate is definitely having a girl? I may be mistaken, but I have only seen speculation on girl names so I thought they had said that much.
I already received my July Julep. It actually arrived all the way from Seattle to Central Florida in 2 days! Seriously! It shipped Thursday, and arrived on Saturday. I actually haven’t even opened it yet because I had a ton of homework over the weekend.
We have a pretty slow week planned. Hubs has to work Wednesday and Friday, and I have 2 tests this week so we can’t do anything too crazy. We’re def doing fireworks at the Magic Kingdom on July 3, and July 4 fireworks probably at Epcot. Walt loved the Fourth so Disney always does a great show.

I agree Kate Middleton will be at her pre pregnancy weight in 2 weeks but I’m sure the name will be a good one. WB is smart in wanting to go to Target. :o)
Head out to the west side and hit up the Milford farmers marke with us and the mommy club! Lol!!
I wanted to get the mystery box for MeUndies so bad! I ended up just getting one pair for my boyfriend for now. I’ll probably cave in and get the mystery box next time they announce one now.

Julep makes me happy. 🙂 I’m totally rocking my Fireworks right now. Funny I got my shipping notice this morning. Good to know since it came on Saturday. LOL
Pretty slow week here. Girls night tomorrow dinner and a movie. Trying to decide between the bling ring and the heat. Both look really good. Then M has to work the 4th so boys and I will just chill and watch fireworks on tv. Supposed to rain most of this week so not much outside time. 🙁
I can’t wait for royal baby and I’m so glad that Kim and Jessica are done for now. I was so over their kids and the names ugh. Here’s hoping Kate and Will pick something classy so they can show everyone else up.
We are having a heat wave here (heck anything over 80 here is a heat wave) with temps in the hundreds so I think 4th of July will be sitting in the house keeping cool (with maybe a drink or two). We did a 5K Sunday and even though it started at 8AM I was sweating like crazy at the finish (and that was just walking). When I was younger the heat didn’t bother me but now? I’m such a wimp.
My guess is Kate and Will won’t be naming their baby North or Ace : )
RIP the beard! But, if you’re like me with the stuff my hubs grew, in some sick way you’re gonna find you miss it now that its actually gone!! LOL!
