My Jennifer Love Hewitt Fancy Box arrived when I was up-north and I was anxious to open it up and check things out. I feel like Fancy Box has stepped up their game these past few months and I am thrilled. I was annoyed with their shipping / billing for a while, but there has been a huge improvement and it’s great!
I think like Jennifer Love Hewitt is the only celebrity not to have her own special Fancy Box. They need to get her a special box! I bet she’d have a really cute one. Fancy ships via FedEx and, as always, arrives in two days. Love their shipping.
Not really first look related, but I have mentioned on here how the Fancy Boxes now come with a prepaid RETURN label. Which I assumed meant you could return the boxes if you didn’t like them. I mean why else would they send a label? A few people have asked how it works and since I never tried to return one, I don’t know. So I contacted Fancy’s live chat and they informed me you cannot return them? I don’t get why they include a label in it if you can’t return it, but I plan to find out a little more about this.
As always, I love their information cards. Nothing else I can say. I still like them. Here’s what the box included:
~Flavor Infuser Water Bottle ($16): Well you already know I love this! It was one of the items in my June / July Favorite Things Giveaway!! It’s a glass bottle, with a plastic lid and I think it’s so neat. It turns a glass of water into something much more fancy and its so easy!
~I Heart Realism Tote Bag ($22): I suppose that I too heart realism, however, I wouldn’t actually ever go out and buy a tote bag like this. It’s kind of a funky size, but I think it will be perfect for the library. We always forget a bag or bring a crazy big one with us so this will be great.
~After Hours Agenda Lipstick Tank ($30): I’m not so sure what I am going to do with this. It’s not really something I’d wear, so I suppose it will end up in the gift / donate pile. Every time someone comes over I make them take something home with them. I don’t wait for holidays or special occasions! Gifts are good all the time!
~American Apparel Matte Top Coat ($6): I’m more of a shiny polish girl, but I really like this. It’s just cool. I think I might use it to do the ever popular one nail different trend. Like 4 shiny nails and 1 matte nail per hand?
~Merkury Motion Armband ($25): This could not have come at a more perfect time. B needs a new arm band like you wouldn’t believe. Those things start to STINK after you use them for a while. And if there is a way to really clean them, I don’t know it. Oh, and no, B doesn’t care it’s pink. He runs fast. Who’ll even see it?
All totaled, I came up with a value of $99 for the July Jennifer Love Hewitt Fancy Box. I didn’t love this box quite as much as I did last month (I mean how can you compete with a waffle stick maker), but I did enjoy this box and felt like I got my money’s worth (the Fancy Box is $46.95/month including shipping).

This box looks great! I’ve never subscribed to Fancy but I’m tempted by the Jennifer Love Hewitt box. That water infuser looks awesome and the tank looks super cute!!! I just wish it was a little bit cheaper.

FYI Fancy doesn’t let you return the whole box, but they do let you return one item for a $15 coupon or exchange it for a random item. Or in some cases, if you get say accidentally receive the wrong shirt size AND want to return an item, they will let you return the item for a $15 gift card plus send you a new shirt in the correct size if they have one available.
I just did this with my Ashton Kutcher box this month. I mean come on, sending a Bears t-shirt to a Packer fan in Wisconsin is a little insulting. lol. Luckily I have relatives in Chicago I can gift it to, but I needed the right size!
I used some bb points to get a matte polish and I love it over some of my textured polishes. The shiny just wasn’t working for me with those. Did I tell you or did you see how Julep uses the matte? They say for white or lighter polishes put on a base coat then first coat of polish then a coat of matte and top with another coat of polish and your regular top coat. It says its the way to make the lighter colors look better. I haven’t tried it yet but it might be my next mani.

I love matte polish, I’m a shiny kind of girl too. I will cover the tips of my nails and paint the rest with the matte top coat so my tips are still shiny. It gives it a neat little two-toned look.
