I received a bunch of packages today, but one of the ones I was most excited to dig into was Mama’s Got Mail! If you aren’t familiar, the idea behind Mama’s Got Mail is to help you feel encouraged and supported as a mom so that you can be the best woman you can be. I never quite know what they are going to send, but I love the surprise.
Mama’s Got Mail ships via USPS Priority Mail and it arrived in the standard two days that Priority Mail promises. The size of the boxes vary depending on what that month holds.
The first look had me super excited and ready to see what else was inside. Like I mentioned before, you never know what MGM will send and I don’t even try to guess anymore because I never am even close!
The September Mama’s Got Mail theme was “Back to School” and includes back to school goodies for us moms to enjoy, because like Shannon at MGM says, we’re the ones doing all the work to get them ready to go back right? Here’s what the box included:
~Built Gourmet Getaway Lunch Tote ($25.69): I used to have a plain black Built bag but I have no clue what happened to it. This will fit my Bento Box(es) and a drink perfectly. MGM suggests using either to pack your lunch OR for running errands which is what I will use mine for. Way too often I am stuck without a snack and end up eating something icky. Problem solved!
~klean kanteen Inslultaed Canteen ($27.95): This will be used beginning tomorrow morning when I drop L off at school and then continue on with my errands (which include the post office – I SWEAR). I will also use this next time I pack a picnic lunch in my new lunch tote!
~Starbucks Caramel Iced Coffee ($6.95): I’ve been wanting to try this for ages and yep, it’s happening tomorrow morning. I should just have it tonight because we all know I am going to be up till 2am anyway (which is better than my previous 3am bedtime)!
~Land of Nod Tote & Coupon Code: This tote is very lightweight and quite adorable. It also comes with a 15% off coupon code (good for your entire purchase) at Land of Nod! Yes please!
All totaled, I came up with a value of about $60.59 (making it the most “valuable” MGM box to date) for the physical items in the September Mama’s Got Mail Box. As always, I can’t put a price tag on the workshop part of the box. This month’s personal self check-in (the worksheet potion) asks about Perfection and touches on some the pressures we feel (or don’t feel) to be the OMGBESTATEVERYTHING and services as a reminder that we don’t have to be perfect!
