As I was happily snuggled on the couch last night (which is basically like every night here) with my baby (L’s is up-north) sleeping upstairs and watching B get ready for this marathon today, I realized I could probably be described as a homebody. Or least a night time homebody. I don’t mind being out of the house running around doing stuff for the entire day, but once night time rolls and it starts getting dark out, I just want to go home. Maybe it’s because I am so used to being at home at night? I don’t know.
Now on vacation, that’s a different story! I am more than happy to go on any and all vacations possible and don’t care for one second I’m not sleeping on my own bed. Going to a hotel and having someone make my bed every day and if they have turn down service? All the better!
What about you? Do prefer to be at home or would you rather be out and about? Or are you like me and does it depend on what’s going on or where you are? I mean I’d pick a Vegas casino over my couch any day of the week. But I’d pick my couch or a work dinner or something along those lines every time!
