~And I am beat! I posted about most of our crazy weekend in Sunday Sentiments yesterday and instead of just staying home last night and relaxing like normal people, we decided to go to Tilson Street. It’s just a normal street on a normal block, but the houses go ALL OUT for Halloween. Totally cool, but OMG it was packed. It was like Disney World sidewalks after a parade. Nuts.  L had a great time though and WB did okay.  B and I plan to go not so close to Halloween and during a weeknight next year though.

~I know I say this a lot and it always turns out to be a crazy week, but I really think this is going to be a slow week around here. I know for sure Goodies is coming, but other than that? Nothing. No, seriously. I do still have a few reviews I am behind on, but it might a slow box week around here. Which is okay because it’s going to be crazy otherwise. I have a million errands to run, which includes going to the post office (if you won something lately I haven’t mailed it yet), finding brown shoes for the boys pictures this afternoon and doing a bunch of Halloween related items for L’s school party.  I smell a few late nights coming this week.

~With all the craziness lately I haven’t even gotten a chance to think about the Target Halloween clearance! Eeek! I need to go scouting so I know what I’m looking for once things hit 90% off. I think WB and I may do that today because I am hoping I can find brown dress shoes for the boys at Target anyway.

~I haven’t watched the last few episodes of Homeland, but I saw a few spoilers and it looks like it’s getting GOOD.  Fingers crossed B gets home from school early this week so we can watch a few episodes.  If not I will be forced to watch them on my own which will totally annoy him, but I don’t want to get too far behind!  Who all watches?  Am I missing out?

No idea what this means. But I cannot wait to find out.

~For whatever reason I didn’t really know that the National Guard was part of the Army?    B was telling me something about some gear he got issued this weekend and I was like does it say National Guard on it?  He was like umm, no, it says Army.  I was like oh, they just use their stuff?  LOL.  No.  It’s part of the Army.  Ha.  Whatever it is, I am super excited to get my military ID card and get to the commissary again.  We used to shop there when B was in the Army (he was active duty Army when we met) and I loved going there. It won’t be long before I’m back there!

~Don’t forget to set your DVR’s because Farrah (from Teen Mom) is going to be on Bethenny today! I believe she gets in an argument with an audience member about plucking her daughter’s eyebrows.  Farrah thinks that’s normal.  Her daughter is 4. This should be good.

~That’s about it from here this morning.  What’s going on for you this week?  And how was your weekend?

Spread the love

Plucking a 4 year olds eyebrows?! What?! Now Mackenzie is unfortunate and has Erin’s unibrow. (He plucks) But I would never pluck her eye brows! (Also thankful her hair is light and not dark like her dads) Now I have told Erin if she wants to get them waxed when she’s in high school I will totally allow that!
Enjoy your errands this week. We have a target trip in the plans this week. Last Halloween we went there on Halloween day and Mackenzie had a Halloween toy with no tag and they gave it to me for $1.99 because it was the last one and it would go in sale anyways. Pretty sure it was a $10 toy. 🙂

It should be a good show!!!!

I am dreading all these errands! If I didn’t have to do them I would be much happier.

  2. I feel like I’m going to have to stalk Target all weekend? I’m actually sad with the timing because it means that Target will get wiped out on the weekend before the clearance gets really low.

I watched all of this season of Homeland last night. I couldn’t stop! ITS REALLY GOOOOOOD

The best deals are when it’s 90% off and everything gets all mixed and hidden in the regular aisles!

This is my first season watching Homeland. Tom has watched it the whole time, but when I was in school full time in addition to working fulltime, I didn’t have time for TV. But…I just started watching it. We haven’t watched last night’s episode yet (we usually watch on Monday night), but it seems like this season is good? Don’t have much to compare it to 😉

I thought the other seasons were better, but I believe that things started to get good last night!

Oh thanks – I’m going to try and watch the show (I work from home.) I actually can’t stand Farrah but she is like the car wreck you can look away from!

I am watching now. It’s not as bad as I was expecting, but I think it’s abut to get good.

I just watched last nights Homeland episode and its SOO good. The first few episodes were “ehh” but the one last night and the one last week were like “OMG”.

    1. Jennifer

Ahhh, I need to watch. I think I am 2-3 episodes behind!

Just got done watching Farrah. Not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. Still some bits of crazy though.

I thought it would be way worse. I had no idea she was coming out with her own “toy” line. Interesting.

Watched the Farrah interview and I just can’t take her explanation for waxing her daughters eyebrows. She says she is a good mom but I disagree.

I love your Target clearance posts. Hope you get some great deals.

I don’t really know if she’s a good mom or not since I just see what’s on tv, but she didn’t even seem too annoyed to me. She doesn’t think before she talks though that’s for sure!
