I was planning on skipping the October Fabletics collection, but well, I just couldn’t help myself.  I really enjoyed last month’s items (you can check out my review here) and figured why not??

In case you haven’t heard of them, Fabletics is the brainchild of actress and co-founder Kate Hudson, who partnered with the team behind JustFab to develop a multi-functional wardrobe solution for today’s active woman. Each month you’ll receive a new workout outfit (pieces you may select from include tops, tanks, tees, sports bras, hoodies, jackets, leggings, pants and shorts) starting at $49.95/month.   And the best part is that if you aren’t interested in any of the items that month, don’t need anything, etc. you are free to skip the month (just do so by the 5th of the month) and won’t be charged.

The Package

Fabletics ships via FedEx Smart Post and like with all SmartPost items, it takes about a week to arrive.  SmartPost = one week.  Anything sooner is just a special treat.

First Look

Fabletics doesn’t include an information card. I mean you get to select exactly what items you want, so what’s the point in an information card?  Everything comes packaged in it’s own little bag, just like orders from say the GAP or whatever.  I, once again, ordered from the “Fall for Fitness” collection and selected the following pieces:

~Coro Tank (Fiery Red Heather) ($27.95): I didn’t realize it when I ordered, but the cork tank has padded cups, which yeah I do not need!  Luckily they are removable, so no harm done.  This tank is super soft and I am now feeling like I need to get all the colors??  I never just wear a tank alone, but I throw them under hoodies or tees almost daily because I love that layered look you get.

~Asaro Legging (Dark Grey) ($49.95): The main reason I ordered this month was to get some leggings! I really like the capris I got last month and initially wanted to pick up grey capris as well, but I decided to go for the leggings instead.  Don’t tell anyone, but I will throw these on with a long sweater or hoodie and some boots and call it an outfit.  You can work out in the or dress them up.  I do need black ones too now…..

Just like last month, I was totally impressed by Fabletics!  I got an outfit worth $84.90 (and let’s be real, the pants alone would have cost me that at lulu) for $59.95!  Love it!

What do you think of Fabletics?  Did you get an offer to give them a try?  If not, don’t worry!  New members get 50% off their first outfits, with no coupon code necessary!!  If you are interested in ordering or just want to check out their outfits, click here!

Hi. Would you say the quality is like lulu, or another comparable brand?

Nevermind. I’ll find out for myself soon enough. I did click through with your link and also got 50% off like a previous poster mentioned. Excited to check it out!

    what is the coupon code?

    1. Jennifer

I think it’s just automatic when you go to their site as a new customer.

Is the $50 subscription in addition to the outfit? I’m really confused how this works but their clothes are adorable!

    1. Jennifer

No, it’s just $50 for the outfit. It signs you up for a subscription when you order though. If you don’t sign up for the subscription, I think you can still buy the pieces, but they cost more.

BE AWARE that you are not buying staff, you are inadvertently buying a membership that will be charged you $ 49.95 per month unless you lo-gin and cancel it every month. I can’t believe Kate Hudson allows her name to be used in this misleading practice. I just spent 15 minutes on the phone to avoid being charged.

I don’t think it’s misleading it all, it says allover the place when you sign up you are signing up for a monthly service, and they send you 3 emails before the 10th of the month reminding you, you will be charged unless you hit the skip this month option. I subscribe to about 15 boxes, and canceling some is very nightmarish, email during X days of this month … I like that they give you the option to skip.
