As usual, I am stealing Jen’s Sunday Sentiments button and idea and making it mine tonight. I’ve “known” Jen for umm, 10 years (and yet we’ve never met), and she knows I do it, so it’s not exactly stealing. But then again, it’s not a link up either ;).
~This weekend? WILD! B found out at the last minute that he had his first National Guard weekend so he’s been out of town these past few days playing army in the woods and eating MRE’s and shooting guns and all that fun stuff. The little boys (and my mom) and I went to Trunk or Treating at L’s school Friday night and then went up-north. I told L we were going and he was so looking forward to it, so we made a quick trip up there. And OMG he had a great time. He has a fort up there and spent hours fixing it and playing and getting filthy. WB could probably take it or leave it, but I think he had a fairly good time and did amazing in the car. It was just the furries and him and I driving home last night (L went with my parents) and I was quite pleased he handled the drive so well ;).
~Ohh, and we went to a Halloween “thing” while up there and L had a great time showing me everything they have there. This little resort up-north puts on quite a show and it’s all donations only. Pretty cool.
~Ugh. So the boys have their fall (winter) pictures tomorrow and I am pretty much dreading it. I *think* I know what they are wearing, but I’m not totally sure. I don’t know if I want them in navy and grey and jeans or both in navy sweaters (not matching, just the same color) and jeans. Thoughts? I do need to run out tomorrow and find some photo worthy shoes though.
~My Erin Condren Life Planner and Address Book arrived yesterday and I feel more organized already. Why I need a $50 planner is beyond me, but I feel more organized already. Now if I can just find some time between now and 1/1/14 (when my planner starts) to get everything ALL entered in it, I will be all set! Oh, and I’m going to post a more details review of it soon – hopefully tomorrow.
~Don’t forget that the PopSugar Special Edition Holiday Box goes on sale on 10.30.13. I’ll post on Facebook (and here) when it goes on sale on the 30th and will of course update with spoilers if (when) we hear something. I am SO hoping it’s $100 (I mean I want it to be less but I highly doubt that), but they have not announced a price yet. I did skip a few Fancy Boxes for next month, so I’m in. Also, don’t forget that PopSugar’s prices are going up on 11/4. So if you want to lock-in the current $35/month price by buying a 3-6-or 12-month subscription, do it quickly.
