First Look

I’d seen some spoilers online and was super excited to get my box this month.  I love seeing what their “gift” is going to be and I also love never having to remember to pick up any supplies at the store.

The Information Card

The November Bonjour Jolie theme was “A Time for Giving Thanks” and was all about taking time to reflect on what you are thankful for.  Here’s what this month’s box included:

~The Supplies:  As always, you can select from a combination of up to 25 pads, tampons and / or pantyliners.  They have tons of brands and options to select from and if you don’t see your preferred brand, I’d shoot them over an e-mail to see if they can help.  I didn’t tai a picture of the pads this month, but I did get 25 items exactly (I counted).

The Supplies

~The Gift – Copper Stone Necklace ($12): I love this necklace and although I don’t wear a ton of copper, I may have to start.  Or I was thinking of putting this is just kind of on display in my closet.  Maybe in a frame?  Kind of just as a little daily reminder of what it’s all about.  Is that cheesy?

The Gift

~The Edibles:  The edibles this month were jumbo sea salt caramels from Caramels for Karson (which is an amazing cause by the way) and Motts Flavored Apple Cider.  OMG.  I was so excited that we didn’t get tea.  You have no idea.  This was a perfect the perfect fall combination of edibles.  Probably my favorite so far.

The Edibles

~The Pampering: This month’s pampering items included Organic Cider Spice Soap by SomervilleSoapWorksBody Butter by The Concord Soap Company, Sugar Scrub Soap Cubes by All Earthly Things, Calming Bath Oil by Blissful Apothecary and Pure Touch Feminine Wipes.  And of course, Advil.  B was pawing around this box yesterday and I think he wanted to steal the soap and the sugar cubes.  Everything smells amazing and I was quite thankful for that advil today.  Couldn’t have come at a better time!

The Pampering

I never do a cost breakdown on Bonjour Jolie, but at $21/month (that includes shipping to the U.S.), I think it’s well worth the price.  The fun gifts and the pampering items, and the convince of never having to remember to go to the store totally make it worth it.  This may have been one of my favorite Bonjour Jolie boxes yet.  I *think* that might be because of the cider in it this month (instead of tea). I know people love tea, but I love cider and hot cocoa (maybe next month??).

What do you think of Bonjour Jolie?  Do you like the idea of never having to run to the store and getting fun gifts every month?  If you are interested in subscribing or just want some more details, click here.
