SundaySentiments

As usual, I am stealing Jen’s Sunday Sentiments button and idea and making it mine tonight. I’ve “known” Jen for umm, 10 years (and yet we’ve never met), and she knows I do it, so it’s not exactly stealing. But then again, it’s not a link up either ;).

~Not sure how it happened, but it’s Sunday already! Happily B has the day off tomorrow so our weekend isn’t over quite yet. I can’t even tell you what I’ve done this weekend which pretty much means it hasn’t been overly productive. Oh well. B and L had a “date” yesterday and went to the Lego Store and built mini figs (so cool) and bought legos and then went to Dave & Buster’s! I’m not sure who had more fun, B or L ;). L is already looking forward to his next date with B which is the Lion’s game in a few weeks. Luckily WB isn’t old enough to really get that he’s not, well old enough, to go with them so we hung out here and played trains while they were gone. And B and I have gotten to watch a few movies (The To Do List and Snitch) and ate some great Plated meals! It’s been a good weekend so far ;).

Date Day!

~In subscription box news, I posted the spoilers for the PopSugar Neiman Marcus Must Have Box yesterday! I was doing some serious MUT stalking last night and it paid off. If you want to be spoiled you can check out the box here. If you don’t want to be spoiled, but want to know something, I will say that I am excited and that the box contains eight items worth a grand total of $638.

~Birchboxes are up! I am getting Box #32 this month and the more I look at it, the more excited I get. Six items, including chocolate and no tea! That’s perfect for me. Last time I looked ipsy bags weren’t up yet, but they should be soon.

November Birchbox #32

~I stumbled into these Market Place cookies at Target the other day and OMG, amazing. Whoever invented these is my new best friend (or my worst enemy I suppose). So so so good. If you are at Target, get these. They are like an animal cracker covered in chocolate with sprinkles. Or like a mint cookie, but not mint tasting and with sprinkles.

So good.

~Last week at Target they had this insane iPad trade-in deal going on that let you trade in ANY iPad, including a first generation one for AT LEAST $200 towards a new iPad. Yeah, they gave me a $200 for L’s ancient iPad. Insanity. Most places give you $80 or $90 MAX. As insane as it sounds, L has been needing to upgrade for a while now (some apps he wants needs a camera and his iPad didn’t have one), so he now has B’s old one and B is waiting until Target restocks their iPad airs and will use the gift card for that. The Target electronics employees looked pretty beat and I am guessing they never ever want to see a first generation iPad again ;).

~I have been getting a lot of people asking about Advocare Spark again and people wanting to try all the flavors, so I decided to buy a box of every flavor (Cherry, Citrus, Fruit Punch, Grape, Mandarin Orange, Mango Strawberry, Pink Lemonade and Watermelon) and am going to sell mixed Spark boxes!! Boxes will be $22.95 (which is the actual retail price on Advocare) plus shipping and will include 14 packets (same as online). So you’ll get at least one of every flavor and two of most (you’ll never get more than two of the same though)! Leave me a comment if you are interested and I’ll get in touch with you. I need to get back on the Spark / Advocare train and hopefully having a zillion flavors to pick from helps me out too!

Advocare Spark

~I finally checked out my first e-book from the library last night and OMG how cool is that?  Like everyone suggested I used the Overdrive App and then just searched for my local library, found a book and “checked out”.  So awesome.  THANK YOU to everyone who told me about this!  I never would have known!

How is your weekend going?  Any Sunday night plans?
