Yay! My December Googaro, which was kindly sent to me to review, arrived yesterday! It couldn’t have arrived at a more perfect time either because as it happens, WB was feeling a big under the weather last night so we are staying in today just in case and are in need of some new “stuff” to keep us entertained.
This month’s Googaro shipped via USPS Priority Mail. Previous Googaro boxes I have received were shipped via UPS, so they must have just changed this in the last month or two. The box still arrived nice and quickly, so that made me happy.
Googaro always has everything wrapped perfectly you can tell that they take their time to make sure the presentation is amazing when you receive the box.
With the exception of one item, I didn’t recognize any of the brands in the box as I was unpacking it which I love. I think finding new brands is what these boxes are all about!
Googaro has a great information card which I completely appreciate. Not only does it have pictures, but it has prices which are usually spot on. There wasn’t a theme this month, but the card wished everyone a “warm and wondrous holiday season”. WB’s box, which was for a 1-2 year old, included the following items:
~Wonderworld Mini Vehicle ($18.31): Totally cute little baby police car and it’s the sort of thing WB is all into right now. Pushes it around, rams it into my walls, you get the idea. He doesn’t know how to make a siren noise yet, but it shouldn’t be long ;).
~Mommy Loves Book ($5.35): If every baby / kid box had a book in it every month, I wouldn’t be sad! Seriously. I love books and this one with moms and their baby animals is super cute. WB still thinks 90% of animals are dogs, so we can for sure use some work reading this book!
~Bearington Plush – Santa ($7): I was a bit surprised that they sent a plush Santa in their boxes. I think it’s totally adorable and really like it, but if I didn’t celebrate, I wonder what I would think? WB actually likes this Santa and even gave him hugs unlike his reaction to that Santa he saw yesterday!
~Ooga Silicone Placemat ($8.99): We have one of these placemats and for some reason I never use it. Probably because it’s not in my bag so I can’t really use it! I am going to change that though and this one is headed straight for my giant mom purse.
~Smith’s Minted Rose Lip Balm ($7): It should come as no surprise that I love this stuff! I am all into rosy lip balms right now and I have never tried any of the Smith’s ones. This could not have been a more perfect “mommy gift” for me this month!
All totaled I came up with a value of $46.56 for the December Googaro box! I am quite pleased with this box and think it was great for WB’s age. Maybe not the most exciting box they have sent, but we will totally use it all!!!
Did you get a Googaro box this month? What’d you think? And if you got a different age group box (they do 0-6 months, 6-12 months, 1-2 years and 2-3 years), what was in it?
