My December Love With Food took the long way this month. Or maybe it just felt like the long way because I had seen so many other people already getting their boxes? Not sure. But either way, it arrived yesterday and I was quite pleased to see it.
Love With Food ships via DHL Global Mail, which starts out with DHL and is delivered by USPS. It took 11 days to get here from GA this month. It’s usually not nearly as long, but with the holidays it really slowed it down.
I’d seen some pictures of this box which I think made me even more anxious to get it. This month looked GREAT!
The December Love With Food theme is “Winter Wonderland” and the card says “You’ve been good all year, so take a stroll through a winter wonderland of decadent delights”. Here is what was included:
~Angell Candy Bar from Betty Lou’s: Yummy! I was starving yesterday and opened this up to test it out right away. I would love to try all the flavors.
~Excellence 70% Chocolate Diamond from Lindt & Spriingli: Mmmm, love these little squares. They are just the right size and are totally delicious.
~Allergen-Free Peppermints from St. Claire’s Organics: These are little peppermint pieces for your hot cocoa! L likes to drink his hot cocoa on the chillier side, but he loves it and this plus whipped cream? OMG he’ll go crazy!
~All Natural Marshmallow Topper, MaddyMelts, from Madyson’s Marshmallows: Instead of mini marshmallows, they have come up with this. You can put it on top of your hot cocoa or expresso and it will melt and give you a little marshmallow taste every time you sip. L is also going to love this and I am planning on ordering more.
~Chocolate Dipped Madeleine by Donsuemor: I cannot think of a single thing wrong with this. It’s delicious and yummy and I love it. Oh wait, I can think of one thing I hated about it. There was only one!
~All Natural Powdered Drinking Chocolate from Les Confitures a l’Ancienne: I received this in a box over the summer and it’s really good! I usually drink Vue Cup hot chocolates, but I don’t mind the old school mix either.
~Natural Crispbread Cracker from 34 Degrees: I don’t have any real feelings about these one way or another. They are okay. Not amazing. Not awful. I am assuming they would have been much more delicious had I eaten them with a spread or something on top.
~Molasses Spice Cookies from Grey Ghost Bakery: I don’t like Molasses cookies, but it turns out that B does, so that works out just fine.
~Spinach Dip Mix from Desert Gardens: I should have made this and tried it with the crackers like they recommend. Hindsight! I will make this though and will pair it with some fancy Ritz crackers or something because I LOVE Spinach Dip! One of my favorites. So so so good.
~Hello Fresh Gift Card ($35): This is for new customers only, which I am not, but I will pass it along to someone who can use it. I so wish they’d come out with a code for existing customers every once in a while though.
~Love With Food Tote Bag: This month’s Love With Food box also included a tote bag! I seriously don’t know how they sit all this stuff in the box this month! It’s quite remarkable actually. I was not able to even come close to being able to repack this one.
Did you get Love With Food this month? What’d you think? I totally loved this month and thought it was my favorite LWF box in ages! Everything was a perfect fit for the season and there were so many great new finds in here. A great month for sure.
If you are interested in signing up click here. Subscriptions (for a regular box) are $12/month, but you can use the code “FB7OFF″ to get your first box for only $5. I can’t locate any coupon codes for the Deluxe Box (it’s $19.95/month and contains 16-2o items), but I will keep my eyes open for one and will update if I hear anything! If you got the Deluxe Box this month, what’d you think? Was there anything different?
