As usual, I am stealing Jen’s Sunday Sentiments button and idea and making it mine tonight. I’ve “known” Jen for umm, 10 years (and yet we’ve never met), and she knows I do it, so it’s not exactly stealing. But then again, it’s not a link up either ;).
~I have no idea how it’s already Sunday night, but I am kind of wishing we could get a few days of this long weekend back! Specifically yesterday when B and I were sick. We are feeling MUCH better now though, which I am very pleased about. L still has a cough though, so I took him to Urgent Care today and they confirmed that yes, he has a cough, lol. They did give us some prescriptions though because it has had a cough for over a week. I believe we spent 10 minutes in the waiting room, 5 minutes talking to the doctor and then 45 minutes waiting for her to write us the prescriptions. Thank goodness for free wifi!
~We did get some holiday decorating done today though! I have one tree up and did the mantle (it still needs some work), the doorway and the apothecary jars. Everyone got in on the decorating action and while it may have taken a tad longer with all the little hands “helping” (I’m looking at you WB), it was for sure more fun that way.
~Okay, so all your Target Cartwheel lovers out there, tell me, what does it mean when you get a badge? I use Cartwheel, but totally not like I should. I do see people getting badges on Facebook though and need to know what that’s all about. Do I need me some badges? Is it like a badge on FourSquare?
~If you missed it earlier, I am doing a 12 Days of Christmas Giveaway which run daily from December 1st – December 12th. Obviously I only have Day 1 up right now, but you can check that one and all future ones out here. What’s going to be given away is anyone’s guess! For real. I’m not even sure what a few days are going to be yet!
~I changed my “Black Friday” tab in the menu bar to “Cyber Monday” and am updating with new Cyber Monday Subscription Box codes as I hear of them! If you hear of any that I have missed, let me know please!
~I mentioned a few times how I wanted a cheaper version of the Pottery Barn Anywhere Chair for L and I stumbled on this one (the Big Joe Dorm Chair) at Gilt (*) today and snapped it right up! It was $42 (plus shipping), but I had some credits, so the price was just right!
~I have no idea what boxes are coming this week, but I am hoping for some fun surprises to appear! And I am really really hoping that we get some PopSugar December or Holiday Box spoilers. Not sure that’s going to happen, but a girl can dream right?
