Memebox #5
Memebox #5

Memebox is a Korean beauty box packed with combination of full size products and deluxe samples. Boxes contain anywhere between 4 and 8 products and while not a monthly subscription service, I am doing a review on it anyway, because I think it’s super cool.  They are always releasing new boxes, so you could probably make this a monthly subscription if you wanted to.

The Box

Memebox ships from Korea to the US and didn’t take long at all to arrive.  I’d guess it was around 10 days?  quite remarkable considering that it sometimes takes ipsy that long to get to me and they don’t travel nearly as far.

The Box

Inside the pouch was the bubble wrapped Memebox.

The Unwrapped Box

And then the actual Memebox itself!  It came in totally perfect condition and I was so excited to open it up and see what was inside.  Sometimes it’s hard to even stop and take pictures of the boxes that I am so excited about opening and this was one of them!

First Look

I was thrilled to open the box and see SO many products inside!  And they all looked to be pretty good size ones from the first look.

The Information Card

Thankfully Memebox includes an information card which includes product information, prices, etc.  The card indicated that beginning with Memebox #5, they will be including non-Korean products which are popular among Koreans as well. Here is what was inside:

~Derma:B Daily Moisture Body Lotion ($4): I didn’t find anything overly fancy about this lotion.  It made my hands feel nice and smooth, but I didn’t think it was anything I couldn’t get here.

Derma:B Daily Moisture Body Lotion

~Nuganic Customize Pole Control Essence ($46): I have only used this a few times, but I have liked what I have seen so far.  It reduces the appearance of pores while also working to rebalance your skin.  This alone makes the box for me!

Nuganic Customize Pole Control Essense 30ml

~CNP Laboratory Cleansing Perfecta ($6.52):  This cleanser works to remove waterproof makeup, sunscreen and BB cream.  I haven’t gotten a chance to test this out yet, but I am thinking it will come in handy in the summer months.

CNP Laboratory Cleansing Perfecta

~Aromatica Tasteless Aroma Therapy Roll On ($14): This is to be to placed on temples and pulse points and is said to control appetite.  I tried it out and thought I was less hungry, but then again, you could give me a placebo and tell me it’d fix my headache and it probably would.  I will keep using this and see what happens.

Aromatica Tasteless Aroma Therapy Roll On

~Lipozone Body Ampoule ($11.43): You are suppose to apply this for 28 days to get noticeable results of firmer skin and reduce cellulite.  Obviously the one time I used it didn’t make a difference, but it’s fun to try.

Lipozone Body Ampoule

~Sella Organic Soap ($3.60): This is totally a B item.  He likes bar soap more than I do and will for sure use this facial cleanser one.

Sella Organic Soap

~Espoir Lip Gloss ($15): The card says that this is a sample size (as in it’s 1/7th of the full size), but if that’s the case, they have the biggest lip glosses ever in Korea!  The color isn’t my favorite, but I will make it work.

Espoir Lip Gloss

~Physiogel Pouch Sample Mix: I am planning to use these three when I am done with a few other products I am testing out.  I liked that they included a few items from the brand so you could get a better idea of how they work together.

Physiogel Pouch Sample Mix

~Dear Jane Pouch Samples: This is a primer and a shimmer highlighter, both of which I enjoyed.  The only thing that could have been better is if the samples were larger ;).

Dear Jane Pouch Samples

~Leaders Pouch Samples: This set includes a CC cream and a UV sun gel, which I am just itching to test out!

Leaders Pouch Samples

All totaled I came up with a value of $100.55 (plus the values of the samples) for Memebox #5, which was $28 including shipping, but Memebox deposits $5 back into your Memebox account to be used towards your next purchase.  I really enjoyed this box and will totally get another one down the road.  I think Memebox #8 is now available (it’s $23 + $5 shipping) and Superboxes #1 ($69.99), #2 ($39.99) and #3 ($45.99) are also available.  I am debating a Superbox, but I am guessing I should act quickly because they seem to sell out of things quickly!
