SundaySentiments

You know the drill, I am stealing Jen’s Sunday Sentiments button and idea and making it mine tonight.

~How is it Sunday night already? I have no idea but let me tell you, I am certainly glad that B has the day off tomorrow (President’s Day!). L still has a cough (he’ll likely have that for weeks), so we don’t have plans to do anything too crazy, but maybe we’ll go to a fun lunch or something?  Either way, I love having all my boys home (L is off for the week for Winter Break).

Oh WB
Oh WB

~I am so obsessed with these new Bath & Body Works “Sweet Shop” candles it’s not even funny. I go in “just to smell” and sure enough, leave with candles. The saleslady tried to talk me into some hand soaps, but even I knew that I didn’t need more of those. These candles though? I need them all.

Love them all
Love them all

~I am planning my next giveaway when I get to 4,000 likes on Facebook, so if you haven’t “Liked” me yet, get to it! Of course, I have no idea what I am giving away yet, but I promise that it will be fun!

Almost there!
Almost there!

~I am hoping that we hear about some Subscription Box Presidents Day sales tomorrow and, of course, I will keep you posted if I do. Also, I am guessing that Target’s Valentine’s Day Clearance will hit 70% off on Tuesday, so be ready for that as well! I have been restraining myself nicely and only bought like four things which I posted about yesterday.

~We are thinking about going skiing next weekend (minus WB of course) and I am so flipping excited about it.  I haven’t been skiing in years (I wonder if I still own skis?) and B and L have never been, but I think it will be a fun little winter break activity.  If you have a little one L’s age, do you think it’s easier to start with skis or a snowboard?  I may need to wrangle up someone who knows how to snowboard for this because I have no clue.

B's ready!
B’s ready!

~I will do a full recap of what subscription boxes I am expecting next week and what reviews I need to catch up on, but it’s fair to say that I am behind.  I am kind of excited that I’ll have a no mail day tomorrow to help me catch up a little more.

That’s about it from here tonight! What are your plans for tonight?  Are you planning on watching Ice Dancing?  I cannot wait!  I think B is excited about it as well!

Just saw you asked about your oldest ds skiing or snowboarding…is he 5? My youngest is 5. We started her on skis (no . Pole). I think skiing would be easier to catch on to… but who knows. Kids are amazing at how quickly they pick things up.

He’s 5. Almost 6. I think he wants to do skiing anyway. Mayne I just want to snowboard.

I hit the clearance section this morning (still 50%) at Target because stuff goes really fast here. I have a really hard time finding anything that’s not destroyed by the time 70% hits. Picked up a few of the little girl Barbies, lip smackers, a baby cabbage patch for E next year, Dora valentines for next year, and some angry birds stuff for some little boys I know. Nothing super spectacular but they make great little extras when you need to get a gift.

I hear you! They make great little things for here and there!

Definitely skis and no need for poles. They are easier to maneuver because of the separate legs (One leg per ski vs both on a snowboard). I have taken a year of snowboarding lessons a while back and I still have a hard time. Have fun!

      Thanks!
