The boys and I headed out earlier today to check out the Target 90% off Valentine’s Day clearance and we were not disappointed!! We didn’t go to my “favorite” Target, but we went to two “pretty good” ones. In case you have no idea what I am talking about, I am going to direct you to a Target Q&A Post I did awhile back that will help you out.
Here’s what we scored today:
~Tissue Paper: $0.14 (reg. $1.49): Looks like no matter the holiday, everyone is getting red tissue paper with their gifts!
~Mega Blocks People: $0.29 (reg. $2.99). I am not even sure I knew they made these? WB will love them.
~Spiderman Puzzle: $0.29 (reg. $2.99)
~Angry Birds Figure: $0.49 (reg. $4.99)
~Superman Cup: $0.29 (reg. price unknown)
I so wish I could have found a bunch more of these puzzles. They would have made great favors!
~Barbie Bubbles: $0.19 (reg. $1.19)
~Hello Kitty Nail Polish: $0.49 (reg. $4.99)
I am hoping to find another set or two of these polishes so I can break them up for goodie bags for the girls in L’s class at one point.
~Sofia the First Dolls: $0.59 (reg. $5.99)
~Barbie Mini Doll: $0.59 (reg. $5.99)
For sure check the regular aisles for these. The only different I could tell between the regular Sofia the First dolls and the clearance ones were that these were in heart shaped packaging. I can easily see a ton getting mixed up with the regular ones.
~Wilton Cupcake Pan: $0.99 (reg. $9.99). Again check the baking aisles for these. Look for red packaging, things with hearts, etc.
~LOVE Blocks: $1.29 (reg. $12.99). I just thought these were cute!
~Chevron Paper: $0.39 (reg. $3.99). For that price how could I resist more chevron wrapping paper?
~Hooded Throw: $1.29 (reg. $12.99). So cute! I will probably let WB keep one and gift the rest. They are so soft though that I just couldn’t pass them up!
I didn’t do a total of what I spent, but I didn’t think it was bad at all. I *maybe* spend $20 everything? Did you go check out the Target Valentine’s Day Clearance? What’d you score? And if you are headed you check it out, don’t forget to check those regular aisles. So many different treasures are NOT in the Valentine’s Day area. You need to dig for them!
My store was cleaned out at 70% but I did get a bunch of the Mega Block people and a few of the Sofia dolls. I couldn’t find anything on the Mega Blocks to show that they were Valentine’s so I was so surprised they were marked down.
That happens quite often. You wonder why on earth it’s marked down and considered part of the clearance, but it is!
I hit it up and found several cute things, including the pink version of the rug you got yesterday for $1.99! I got five rolls of that chevron paper. It was hiding in the gift wrap aisle unmarked. Picked up a couple of bubble necklaces, another My Little Pony nail polish kit and a Nordicware spatula, too. All of it was under $6!

99 cent cupcake pans would be PERFECT for my sisters housewarming basket haha!!!

I ended up with a bunch of chevron gift bags for I think $.29, big bags of goldfish crackers, and some sippy cups out of very little left over! Got the sippy cups in the kitchen area.

Mine was pretty well cleaned out but everything had just been marked down to 90%. I got a big wooden decorated heart for $1.99 and red and pink lantern lights for $1.29. I cleaned those out and my girls are excited to put them up in their room!
I need to look out for those!!
I found a lone lego set in the regular toy aisle for 34 cents. Score! Also grabbed a cute coffee mug for 29 cents and a Hello Kitty jewelry box filled with candy for $3.89.
The little mega block people were regular price at two Targets I went to…I wonder if that’s a regional deal.
I am still hoping to find cupcake pans. I hunted today but had no luck.
I heard that some mega blocks were and some weren’t. I guess it depends on the character?
I love that chevron wrapping paper! I’m tempted to go to my Target now, but I will have to restrain myself from a late-night Target wrapping paper run, haha! Will go tomorrow!

I *always* troll the whole store looking for those treasures, but there’s nothing there. I really do think they box up our stuff and send it to the burbs. When the car is back I say I’m going to try different Targets. But really, I don’t want to drive out to the burbs when I can just walk to Target and be happy with what I find. (sigh)
It would be much easier if your Target just had the stuff. Maybe you have some super clearance hunters in your area??
I think it’s just the employees mostly. They call in their friends, and I don’t know why they all buy it way before it gets to a good sale. They didn’t even have the 70% signs up yet when I went. Everyone buys it all at 30% and I’m like whyyyyyy.

Super jealous over your 90% haul 🙁 I love those hooded throws!! I went last night and nothing…. i just the lifesaver candies for $1 lol. I went on Monday to a different Target and for 50% I got a cute heart apron, the goldfish packs and the lipsmackers lip balm. not too much. It was still 70% last night. Maybe ill try a different Target tonight. 🙂

I have never been able to do a holiday haul my Target is always WIPED out but the time I get there and I just went and got an Easter haul!! It was so fun I could not stop I bought so much crap but it was like $0.19!?!?! How could I not OMG I just had so much fun, I really want to do that again! It was such a high buying like 50 things for $8!!! hahaha

The product contains three pieces of cloth having hood at one corner. Out of thee only first one is of good quality but the rest two are very cheap and below average.
