Spring 2014 FabFitFun
Spring 2014 FabFitFun

fabfitfun, who kindly sent me this box to review (I bought one too, but we’ll get to that in a minute), is a quarterly monthly subscription box that includes hand-selected items (the “hottest of the season”) in beauty, fashion, fitness, and wellness from Giuliana Rancic and the fabfitfun team. fabfitfun is $49.99/quarter and the Spring 2014 box marks their first anniversary!

The Box

fabfitfun ships via FedEx Smart post.  My box went straight from Los Angeles to the FedEx Smart Post location in Michigan (it usually stops and hangs out in Ohio) and then hustled to my post office – all in three days.  I about tipped over.  I mentioned earlier today that if the stars aligned my box would arrive today (and not like Monday when I was expecting it), but I never really believed it would happen.  This give me hope for all future SmartPost shipments!

First Look

I pretty much knew what to expect from the first look, but there was one product in this box with a variation and I was dying to see which one I received.  I couldn’t tell by the first look, but I was ready to dig in!

The Information Card

The Spring 2014 fabfitfun box doesn’t have a theme (none of them do), but they have a great information card (with nice big font) which I love.  It also gives information on their social media accounts and asks that subscribers post photos and unboxing videos with the hashtag #FFFVIP for your chance to win an iPad in your box next!  Here is what the box included:

~Kai Perfume Oil ($48): I received this last spring in a box and really liked it, so I was happy to see it again.  It smells amazing and lasts for a long time, without being crazy strong.

Kai Perfume Oil

~Cover FX SPF 30 Protection Primer ($38): This primer protects and hydrates your skin while at the same time extending makeup wear.  I am looking forward to getting out in the sun (or just getting outside in general) and actually needing SPF!

~Merrithew Mini Stability Ball and DVD ($22.99): B doesn’t know it yet, but now that we have two mini stability balls and a dvd, I am going to make him try this out with me.  He’ll be game for it though!

~Dermasuri Deep Exfoliating Mitt ($19.99):  Ohh, I need one of these!  They recommended using it before applying self-tanner and that is so what I am going to do.  I would never buy one of these on my own, but totally need one, so this is great.

~Cult Gaia Turband ($48): I have no idea where on earth I will wear this, but I was way excited about the print I got.  I’d seen a few people get this polka dot and it’s the one I wanted.  I will probably wear it with the bow / tie in underneath my hair because I really just can’t see myself wearing it like the models.

~Oscar Blandi Pronto Dry Shampoo Invisible Spray ($25): I love dry shampoo and I have used this in the past and liked it.  I don’t love it as much as I love the Sauve Dry Shampoo (I swear that stuff is awesome), but it might be because the Sauve is so inexpensive?  I will happily use up this fancy can though ;).

~Level Naturals Shower Bombs ($7.99):  Eeek! I love this and am can’t wait to take a long hot shower with one.  All you need to do is throw them on the shower floor and they do the rest.  They really do make it very spa-like.

~The Better Chip Spinach and Kale with Sea Salt ($1.99): I haven’t tried these yet, but I don’t think they would be too that unclean.  Maybe I will have them during the MSU game for a special treat.

All totaled I came up with a value of $211.96 for the Spring 2014 fabfitfun box!  At $49.99/box I think it’s a great deal and an amazing way to try everything and branch out a little without paying full price!

Did you get a Spring fabfitfun box?  What’d you think?  If you want to buy one, you are in luck because they still have some and you can use coupon code “SPRING5” to get $5 off!  Just click here and you’ll be set.

And about that box that I bought.  Well, I’m giving it away!  You knew it would happen!  As usual, just enter in the Rafflecopter widget below and you’ll be set. And remember to make sure to answer the “Comment” question and don’t just write “pick me” or whatever.  Good luck!
