You know the drill, I am stealing Jen’s Sunday Sentiments button and idea and making it mine tonight.
~First things first. The Oscars are tonight!! Are you watching? Are you as excited as I am about it? I never got a chance to watch any of the nominated movies, so I don’t really know that I care who wins, but the dresses? Yeah, I care about the dresses! I think today is one of the few days I am actually annoyed I don’t have cable because I badly want to watch the Red Carpet Coverage on E! I will survive though (and maybe play their Drinking Game to make me feel better) because Tara and Johnny are going to be on Access Hollywood reporting! Hello, that might be better than the Oscar’s themselves! And of course I will report on my favorite dresses in the morning!
~Everyone always asks me what I do with my washi tape and so far my main use for it has been to decorate my planner (aka sticker book). I snapped a picture of this weeks spread before I put any plans in so you could check it out. It’s not nearly as fancy as some planners I have seen, but I like it.
~As I mentioned B had National Guard this weekend and was basically gone all weekend. The little boys and I did nothing. We were so lame. We didn’t even go to Target. No seriously. I do think that everyone (even WB) is feeling better though, so this is good news. And we’ll just do something fun next weekend to make up for it!
~I got the Monthly Subscription Box List all updated today, so I am pretty pleased about that and plan to work on some coupon code updates later tonight during the Awards Ceremony. If you know of any great subscription box ones, please share!
~EEK! There are over 4,000 likes on the Ramblings of a Suburban Mom Facebook Page, which I am SO excited about! This means I will have a giveaway up this week!! Still not sure exactly what, but I’m open to ideas. Subscription boxes? Gift Cards? A Mini Favorite Things Giveaway with multiple winners (everyone getting the same prizes)?
~Golden Tote’s March sale launches tomorrow morning at 9AM PST / 12PM EST. I am guessing they are going to be super prepared for it this time, so if you want to get in on this one, be ready! I’ll have my February tote review up tomorrow along with a reminder about the sale just in case you forget.
~OMG I got a chance to catch up on Teen Mom AND watched all the Teen Mom specials and I don’t even know what to say. Actually, wait I have a lot to say. First of all, Jenelle. I am Team Jenelle this season, but when she was trying to figure out who’s baby she was pregnant with? That was too much. Amber. I hope she stays clean. Props to Gary for giving her that time with Leah right away! I also watched the older “Being Maci” episode. Yeah, that’s still something up between her and Ryan. Farrah. She is a piece of work. I love that she insists that she is not a porn star. Umm, what else would you call it? You want to do porn and you like it? Own it! And I so hope that Catelynn and Tyler stay together but I just don’t know. They live sort of near me and I would love to see them out and about!
