Yay!  My April 2014 Fancy Food Box is here!  I was hoping to see that box on the porch this afternoon when I got home and there it was.

If you aren’t familiar Fancy offers not only their celebrity curated (Snoop Dogg, Coco Rocha, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Kelly Rowland and Verbal) and original Fancy Box, they also offer a Fancy Food Box, which includes five or more food products – anything from cookies and chocolates to teas and sauces.

The Box

Fancy Box ships via FedEx and took the standard two (business) days to arrive to me in MI.  Fancy Box ships out of MA and I am lucky to receive it nice and quickly.

First Look

I always love seeing what is going to be in the Fancy Food Box and the first look didn’t disappoint!

The Information Card

Eeek!  Seven items were included in the April Fancy Food Box!  I really like when they have a lot of items because then it you don’t like one or two, it’s not as much of a disappointment.  Here is what was included in the box:

~Joseph Joseph Pinch Pots ($12): I actually have these already from another Fancy Box.  You aren’t suppose to receive duplicates even between Fancy Boxes, so I will shoot them over an e-mail.  They usually handle it without a problem.  These are handy to have near you while cooking and look cool as well.

~Herb N Zest Spoonable Curry Ketchup ($8):  I am a total plain old Heinz ketchup girl, but hopefully B can figure out a recipe to use this in.

~Cacao & Coconut Chunky Bar ($7):  This is delicious!  I was a little hesitant because I feared it would be super coconut tasting, but it’s not at all.  The filling is almost truffle like.  So delicious.

~Dragon’s Blood Elixir ($7.50): We have a bottle of this here – from a Mantry box maybe – and I am not 100% sure what B has used it for.  Maybe chili?  Not too sure.  I try to avoid hot sauce, but B will eat it on occasion.

~Bjornqorn ($6): I love this name.  I keep saying it over and over again.  Bjorncorn!  It’s popped purely by the power of the sun on a farm in New York’s Hudson Valley.  How cool is that?

~Roots & Branches Olive Oil Crackers ($4.50): These are great alone and I can’t even imagine how amazing they are with a fabulous cheese.  I hope to find out quite soon ;).

~Queen City Cookies Pure Shortbread Pachyderm Cookies ($7): So.good.  These are little buttery bites of joy.  I love them.  And the fact that they are elephant shapes makes them even better.  LOVE!!!

All totaled I came up with a value of $52 for the April 2014 Fancy Food Box.  That’s one of the least “valuable” Fancy Food boxes I have received, however, I was introduced to a few new fabulous items (hello elephant shortbread cookies) and will use everything in here, so I am happy!

If you are thinking of ordering this or ANY of the Fancy Boxes, click here! Fancy Boxes are $39 + $7.95 shipping, but you can always use the coupon code “FOLLOWUP10″ to save 10% on any Fancy.com, order, including subscription boxes.  If you can’t find the Fancy Box you are looking for, I suggest just doing search for “Fancy Box“. It’s much easier than trying to navigate their site, which I find quite confusing at times.

  1. I really dislike that the Fancy Food Box box doesn’t ship to Canada. This is my favourite of all of them.

Ugh! It must be something with shipping food!

  2. Cheryl

When I ordered the Mystery Box (my first Fancy purchase) I was happy to find out their shipping address is seriously 30 minutes away from me. Makes me even more tempted to order either this box or Tyler Florence (still deciding)!

Did it come the next day?

      1. Cheryl

It did! I ordered after reading your first review of the mystery boxes and I couldn’t believe it was on my doorstep the following day! I’m tempted to finally try some of their subscriptions now that I know I’ll get them fast lol.

      Ha!!! Sorry!

This box is awesome! Totally love the bjorncorn. 🙂 I love that they threw in a non-food tool, even if it was a duplicate! I feel like of all the Fancy boxes, this one and TF are the only ones that are consistently good. Must be the food!

I love that they do a gadget here and there!
