Nicely Noted, who kindly sent me this to review, is a stationery subscription service that delivers a curated batch of letterpress cards and stamps to your mailbox every month.
Nicely Noted ships via USPS First Class Mail. Subscribers receive their package during the first week in the month. If you sign up by the 15th of the month you will receive a collection that month. If you sign up on the 16th or later you will receive your first collection the following month.
Nicely Noted comes neatly packaged and every package I have seen included little note from the owner (Perry).
On the back of the Nicely Noted band is a listing of all the cards included in the box, as well as, the vendor’s name. Here is what was included this month:
~Birthday Wishes by Igloo Letterpress in Worthington, Ohio ($4.50): I am not sure if this is the intention, but this card reminds me of Napoleon Dynamite. And that’s a good thing! I haven’t gotten my brother a birthday card yet (it was in March so clearly I need to slow down) and this is perfect. Maybe I was just waiting for the right card to come along?
~Eucalyptus by Red Oak in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania ($4.75): Gorgeous card. Love the print, the colors, everything! I really like the overlapping colors and am thinking of who I could sent this too who would enjoy it most! Totally random, but do you keep cards people send you? My Grandma, who passed away in February, used to keep every card / letter anyone ever sent her and would go back and read them every once in a while. I thought that was crazy, until I realized that do the same thing!
~Word Search by SweetWater Press in Culver City, California ($4.50): This card is easily my favorite of the bunch. It works for many different occasions and you could either circle the event you are sending it for or just let the person guess ;).
I didn’t take a separate picture of them, but Nicely Noted also includes a little pouch of stamps so you have NO excuses on why you can’t send the cards out. And they aren’t just little boring Forever flag stamps. Nope, they are fun collectors forever ones! I didn’t think it would be fair to do a cost breakdown on this box since in addition to the cost of the card, you’d be paying for shipping on the items as well. Plus, you have to consider the curation with this one. It really introduces you to a lot of new letterpress vendors who you may have never heard of otherwise.
