The Honest Company Mother’s Day Gift Set

Eeek! I ordered my Honest Company Mother’s Day Gift Set just a few days ago so I was pumped when it arrived today! I honestly thought it would have taken a bit longer, but was happy it didn’t.

The Honest Company is a monthly subscription service that delivers safe, eco-friendly, beautiful, convenient, and affordable products to your door. They offer three monthly bundles – the Diapers & Wipes Bundle ($75.95), the Essentials Bundle ($35.95) and the Health & Wellness Bundle ($39.95). I receive both the Diapers & Wipes (which is exactly that – diapers and wipes) bundle and the Essentials (cleaning supplies, bath & body products, etc.) bundle every six weeks. I have never tried the Health & Wellness Bundle (vitamins), but I probably should! I don’t know if they have ever done this before, but they are also offering a Mother’s Day Gift Set ($49.95) for sale this year, which is what this review is on.

The Box

The Honest Company ships via FedEx.  I ordered this on the 24th (the day it was released) and it arrived today (the 29th), so I thought that was awesome.

First Look

The first look was awesome!  I wasn’t sure how everything would come packaged, but it was just like the picture online.  Oh and I also purchased a refill glass cleaner with this order.  Shipping over $50 is free, so I figured I might as well pick up something else!

Unboxed

This box is totally ready for gift giving and even includes a gift tag!  It has a plastic case inside the box, so you don’t have to worry about anything falling out of it.  I was very impressed!  The box doesn’t have an information card, however it’s not the kind of box that needs one.  Here is what was inside:

~Honest Sea Salt & Sugar Body Scrub: This product is exclusive to the Mother’s Day box and smells amazing.  It’s not too strong, but not too weak either.  I am looking forward to taking a shower and really testing this!

Honest Sea Salt & Sugar Body Scrub

~Honest Lip Shimmer: Again this is a gift set exclusive!  I like Honest’s lip balms and this is basically that with some color.  So yep, I love it!

Honest Lip Shimmer

~Honest Aromatic Soy Candle: I cannot even tell you how many times I have wanted to order these with my monthly bundles, but just never got around to it for whatever reason.  The fact that this candle was in the box pretty much sealed the deal for me.

Honest Aromatic Soy Candle

~Honest Body Oil: I have actually never tried the body oil either!  I love that it’s a spray and tested it really quickly and was pleased.  I think I am going to order another bottle with my next bundle so the kids can have one and I can have one!

Honest Body Oil

~The Honest Life by Jessica Alba (Signed Copy): I actually own and have read this book, but I think I will donate / giveaway my copy and keep the signed one ;).  It’s an interesting and informative read, but doesn’t come off as all judgmental which I would hate.

The Honest Life by Jessica Alba
It’s even signed!

I couldn’t do a cost breakdown on this box since a few of the items were exclusive to the Mother’s Day Gift Set.  I do think it was well worth the $49.95 and I couldn’t be happier with this one!  In fact, you *might* see it again in next weeks newsletter.  Maybe in that top left hand corner?  You know what I mean ;).
