Projects. I was hunting for some new fun things to do next week (it’s Spring Break) and came across this. L and I are so trying this. Someone here must have done it already and hopefully will report back on if it works or not. Fingers crosses it does!

Mixstix. Why didn’t someone think of this sooner? Two chapsticks in one! Sometimes I want the strawberry flavor. Sometimes I want the banana. Sometimes I want both. And these are so reasonably priced that I don’t feel too badly about picking up all the different flavor options they have!

Kroger Manager Specials. At my old Kroger they kind of stuffed these amazing deals away near the bottle return which is an area I try to avoid so I didn’t stop to check them out very often. But my fancy new Kroger has it’s own fancy new area for these. And the deals are amazing. I scored some Starbucks bagged coffee for B for a steal, cereal (like I care if the box has a mark on it) and lots of other goodies!

Spring! The last few days here have been nothing short of amazing. It was 60 degrees yesterday. That’s nearly 80 degrees more than it was some days this winter. L has been able to go outside for recess at school (they even had snack outside yesterday) and after school both boys are able to get outside and run and play. And, of course, go for car rides. WB loves cruising around the neighborhood with his big brother! Oh and yes, that’s a bunch of golfballs in the back. Back when we first moved in (and up until last spring really) we had the neighborhood to ourselves. And we had one neighbor who used to hit golf balls because there was just so much empty space. L was super into finding golf balls and would keep all the ones he found. And there were a TON!

Cool Eye Mask. I received this in a Fancy box over the winter and have been loving it. I keep it in the fridge at all times and I’m telling you, laying down on the couch with this on my eyes for even 5 minutes is like a treat. Feels so nice.

Pure Genius. This is one of those items you look at and think “why didn’t I think of that”? I lose hair ties all the time and they end up spilling all over my bathroom drawers and I can never find one when I need one. This idea is so amazing. I am sure we have a spare carabiner somewhere around the house so not only is it genius, it’s free too ;).
