Mother’s Day Fancy Box

My Mother’s Day Fancy Box was on my porch this morning when I got home and I couldn’t get into it fast enough. I have been dying to see what was included in this one and hadn’t been able to find any spoilers on it yet, so I was anxious!
If you aren’t familiar with Fancy, they offer a regular monthly Fancy Box full of cool goodies or celebrity curated boxes which include a collection of the coolest products hand-picked by Jennifer Love Hewitt, Verbal, Kelly Rowland, T-Pain, Snoop Dogg, Coco Rocha and / or Tyler Florence. They also offer a Fancy Food Box (which is one of my favorites) and offer Limited Edition Boxes, such as this Mother’s Day one every so often. This year they offered $19 / $39 / $79 boxes. I purchased the $79 box. In addition, Fancy is now offering Mystery Boxes in three sizes – Small ($10), Medium ($20) and Large ($40), and either Men or Women.
Fancy Box ships via FedEx. This box shipped on Friday and arrived to me on Tuesday (today). I may not love that they charge extra for shipping, but I do love that they arrive so quickly.
Like I said I hadn’t been able to find any spoilers on this one, but things looked good from the first look!
The Mother’s Day Fancy Box doesn’t include a true information card (or cards), but it does have a cute little postcard type card. Here is what was included in my Large Mother’s Day Fancy Box:
~Midnight Clutch by Emilie M. ($50): I know this came in a lot of people’s Fancy Mystery Boxes, but I never received one in mine. I really like the clutch and love the size of it. Most clutches I have are tiny and this is huge in comparison.
~Tilt Mug ($15): B has one of these from a different Fancy box at work I believe? I am going to take the little tea thing out of this and just use it as a regular mug. It seems bigger than a normal mug, which is nice! L would also love to drink hot chocolate out of this with mini m&m’s or mini marshmallows in the basket. How cute would that be?
~Silver Bar Necklace by Lumo ($40): Love this! It’s delicate and gorgeous and I love it. I should have B wrap this up for Mother’s Day for me because it would be perfect.
~Selection Decanting Pourer ($13): Oh, we received one of these a while back and love it! It’s probably one of our favorite Fancy box items. I don’t know that I can taste a difference using this, but it really helps with drips and spills.
~Japonesque Safari Collection Brushes ($20): I believe I have received these in a Coco Rocha Fancy Box maybe? Sometime last Spring? I have no idea where they are now, so I guess another set isn’t a bad thing. They are really cute.
~Fancy Nail Lacquer ($21): I know this has made the rounds in various Fancy boxes, but somehow I have never received it! It’s not really summery or Mother’s Day’ish, but it is nail polish, so yeah, I am happy with it!
All totaled I came up with a value of $159 for Mother’s Day Fancy Box. The box was $79 (plus shipping), so the value was almost double the cost! I liked this box, but I didn’t love it. It kind of felt more Mystery Box like than Mother’s Day box like. It’s possible it’s just because I have received so many Fancy Boxes in the past few weeks that I am not as excited about it as I would have otherwise been.
