May 2014 Q Box

Q Box, who sent me this box to review, sends 5-7 hand-selected items in beauty, fashion, accessories, home from mainly Japanese and Korean brands. Boxes are $24.95/month and promise to include full sized products with a value of $60+.

The Box

Q Box ships via USPS out of Canada and generally takes about a week to arrive. It seems like the boxes are shipping earlier and earlier in the month, which is awesome!

First Look

I was liking what I saw right away!  And when I opened it, I remembered that I had seen some spoilers for this month and had been hoping I would get it to review ;).

The Information Card

The May Q Box doesn’t have a theme, but included the following items:

~3CE Silky Touch Facial Cleaning Brush: I am not sure that I have ever used a cleansing brush?  I am going to need to do some googling on how this works. I am guessing like a manual Clarasonic?

~Laura Ashley Spring Bloom Reversible Tote Bag: A totally cute tote that will be awesome for the library this summer.  It’s the perfect size for that and would work for a small beach tote as well.

~Desk Zaka Butterfly Sticky Notes: I believe this can be used as decorations on a wall / your computer screen or simply as sticky notes.  I don’t want to open them and mess them all up because I want to pass them on to a friends daughter who will love them!

~Gelato Pique Scented Ice Cream iPhone5 Case: I don’t know what this is scented like, but it’s not ice-cream!  It smells like an iPhone case to me.   LOL!  Regardless I love it and put it on my phone within minutes of opening this box.  When B got home and saw it he was like what on earth is on your phone???  He’s not a fan, but I love it.

~Mercury Duo Rhinestone Flower Headband: At first I thought this was a necklace and was like meh.  But it’s a headband and for whatever reason, that make it 100x more attractive.  Totally love it.  Even if the rhinestones get caught in my hair.

~Basic Materials Snail Wine Class Label: I have seen a lot of wine charms and that sort of things, but never have they been bright colored snails!  B and I even get our glasses mixed up when it’s just the two of us, so I am going to have to put these to use.  Adorable!

~Snack: I say it every time some type of these little panda cookies appear in a box, but I love them!  So so so good.

I didn’t do a cost breakdown on this box because I couldn’t find most of the prices online.  Q Box, however, lists the prices in the information card and according to their prices, the box has a value of $74.50.  Not too bad considering the box itself is only $24.95/month + shipping!

The May AND June Q Box are already sold out (they go quick), but if you are interested in signing up for July or just want to learn more, click here.  And don’t forget to use the code “ENJOY1ST” to save 10% off your first box!

Disclosure: This complimentary box was received for review purposes. All opinions are my own and no compensation was received.
