The Boodle Box, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a monthly subscription box full of adorable accessories and beauty products that encourage girls of all ages (boxes are broken down into a 5-10 age group and a 11+ age group) to uncover new things and discover themselves in the process!

The Box

How cute are these boxes? I knew right away, without even opening this box, that I would like it.  Sometimes I can just tell!

First Look

Everything was beautifully packaged and I almost felt bad ripping that sticker open.  Almost ;).

Second First Look

So cute!  I was totally loving it and I was so anxious to see what was under that pink issue.  I was hoping it wasn’t just packing materials (it wasn’t).

The Information Card

I believe that the May 2014 The Boodle Box was their first ever box and in celebration of their launch, they are giving away a Boodle Box every day!  All you need to do is sign up for their mailing list to get entered.   Here is what was in the first ever Boodle Box:

~Lily Pulitzer Lobstah Roll Market Bag ($10): I absolutely love this.  It’s so fun and cute and perfect for summer.  All my other shopping bags need to move out the way for this one because it’s met new favorite!

~Nails Inc. Nail Polish (Sloane Street) ($4.17): I have received these in other boxes and I love them.  I can never resist a mini polish and a hot pink one makes it even better!

~PURR by Katy Perry Perfume ($1.67): I didn’t even know Katy Perry had a perfume, but I am guessing if I were a bit younger I would.  It smells great and I love love love that it’s not insanely expensive (a bottle retails for $23.99).  Unrelated, but Ed Hardy used to make an amazing perfume scent.  I wonder if they still have that?

~Cina Nail Creations ($4.69): Very cute and fun and I would even use these!  Maybe not on every nail, but I would do an accent nail or two.

~SunKidGifts Lollipop Bath Fizzy ($2.50): Totally adorable.  The boys will love these and heck, why wouldn’t they?  They make the water fizz and smell fabulous.  I will order more for gifts and for WB and L because they are so cool.

~Marina’s Closet Ponytail Holder ($3): This is a ponytail holder covered with Lily Pulitzer fabric.  I am on this big Lily Pulitzer kick (I have no idea where this came from), so I am loving this as well.

~Neon Silicone Chain Bracelets ($1.65): These are almost exactly like the one we got in the Winter fabfitfun box that retailed for $29.99!  I seriously need to put them next to each other.  I have worn that one a few times so I will have no problem wearing these as well.

All totaled I came up with a value of $27.68 for the May 2014 The Boodle Box.  Boxes are $29.99 ($24.99 + $5 S/H) if you purchase the single box option and go as low as $19.99/month if you do a 6-month subscription.  The value wasn’t crazy amazing, but I loved this box!  I think it would make an amazing birthday gift for a niece or a fun monthly surprise for your daughter.  Heck, I would even like this for myself every month.  Such cute items!

I want this! I wonder if that means I’m super immature? Or young at heart?

    1. Jennifer

Whatever it is, I am the same!

You only got 1 nail polish, but the information card says you should get 6? Maybe because it was a review box? The value would have been really good if all 6 were included.

    1. Jennifer

No, it just shows you the price for 6 since I believe it’s usually sold it in a set of 6.

I love Katy Perry’s perfume! The full-size bottle comes in this large purple cat with sparkly eyes and a little collar that has the name of the perfume and a heart. It’s so adorable.

I saw that! It looks really cute!

Very cute box! Definitely tempted to get it for my 12 year old! Was your review box age-themed, or a generic ‘some of the stuff we’ll be sending,’ do you know?

I am not 100% sure? I would think this was 11+ though!
