May 2014 The Bride Box

The Bride Box, who sent me this box to arrive, is a monthly subscription box for, you guessed it, brides!  It contains fun full-sized gifts, samples, and more and is catered specifically to brides who are in the wedding planning process.

The Box

The Bride Box ships via USPS First Class Mail and took just a few days to arrive.  I think they used to chip via Priority Mail, but I think this took just about the same amount of time!

First Look

I knew that something in this box was going to be customized, but I wasn’t totally sure what it was, so I was excited to find out.  The first look gave me no hints at all!

The Information Card

The May 2014 The Bride Box theme was “The Anniversary Edition” and was designed to celebrate the first year of The Bride Box.  Here is what was included:

~Knot & Nest’s Personalized Burlap Print ($20): Love this!  This burlap print was the customized item this month and it’s fabulous.  Every subscriber got their own customized print with their names and wedding date.  I cannot even imagine how difficult this must have been for them to do and keep straight, but I totally appreciate it!  Love!

~Armor of God Bride Iron-On ($7.50): This can be ironed on to a shirt or a dress and Armor of God also makes bridal apparel such as getting ready dresses for you and your girls.  I love the font on this and think it would be adorable on a tote!

~Rook Designs Bride & Groom Koozie ($2): Ha!  the front of these just say Bride and Groom and the backs of both of them say “I Do”, but the groom one also says in small print “Whatever She Says” under I Do.  LOL!!!

~The Bride Box Rhinestone Stickers (Bride and Groom Set) ($16): The “I Do” rhinestone set came in the first ever Bride Box and it was a big hit, so they are doing it again with another set and a set for your groom as well!

~Bridesmaid Tips / Notes: The Bride Box has been including tip sheets in their boxes lately which I think are a nice addition.  This month’s feature is about selecting a bridal party and making sure you choose wisely!

All totaled I came up with a value of $45.50 for the May 2014 The Bride Box.  I thought the customized piece was fabulous an really made this box a great one.  I plan on picking up a frame for this and hanging it in our bedroom!
