Citrus Lane Mom Treat Mystery Box

I did a review on my Citrus Lane “Lace & Trace Farm” Mystery Box yesterday (you can check that out here) and now it’s time for my “Mom Treats” Mystery Box review!

If you aren’t familiar, Citrus Lane is a monthly subscription box for babies from 0 to 5 which contains four or more products selected especially for the age and stage of your child.   They also have been offering Mystery Boxes every once in a while, which I love. In this latest round of Mystery Boxes, they offered the following choices: Mom Treat (featured a beautiful Stella and Dot Bracelet and other favorite beauty brands for mom), Baby Car (included a Plan Toys Baby Car and other products that are appropriate for babies (ages 0-12 months), Skip Hop Zebra Plate & Bowl (included a Skip Hop Divided Plate and Bowl Set and other products which are appropriate for a variety of ages, recommended for toddlers and preschoolers (ages 12 months+), Lace & Trace Farm (included a Melissa & Doug Lace and Trace Farm and other products for preschool boys (ages 2 years+) and Ivy Bean Paper Dolls (featured Chronicle Ivy & Bean Paper Dolls and other products for preschool girls (ages 2 years+).

The Box

Citrus Lane ships via FedEx Smart Post. You can pay more and upgrade your shipping on shop and Mystery Box purchases, but I never do.

First Look

I had peeked at a few spoilers for this one so I knew what to expect, but it looked even better when I opened it myself. The Citrus Lane Mystery Boxes don’t have information cards, but it included the following items:

~Stella & Dot Toujours Bracelet ($33.75): This is an older piece from Stella & Dot, which I believe was sent out in a Citrus Lane box, gosh, back in 2011?  It’s not available anymore and I don’t have this so I am totally happy!

~Julep Gabrielle ($14): I have this color already, but let’s be real, what Julep colors don’t I have?  That would be easier than trying to figure out what I do have already!

Julep Gabrielle

~Deep Steep Lavender Moisture Stick ($4.95):  I love these.  I discovered them in a subscription box a while back and have been hooked on them since.  They are awesome for rough patches on your knees and elbows.

~Baggu Fox Bag ($9): I saw a few variations of this bag and I was like I NEED the fox one!  I was thrilled when I opened it up and saw that I had gotten it!  Score!  I have lots of Baggu’s, but believe it or not, there are times when I don’t have one on me which is crazy.  I think I will throw this one in the glovebox so I always always have it.

~Juice Beauty Hand Cream ($12): This hand cream is incredible and I love it.  I was really hoping it would be included in the Mom Treats box and was super happy to find out it was.

All totaled I came up with a value of $73.70 for the Citrus Lane “Mom Treats” box!  I loved every single thing in this box and it didn’t even matter that a few were repeats because they were all things I needed more of anyway!

Did you get a Citrus Lane Mystery Box? Which one did you pick and what was in it? All of the Mystery Box options are currently sold out, but I will let you know as soon as more are released (if they release more that is)! If you haven’t tried Citrus Lane yet, but want to give them a go,you can use the coupon code “TAKE20OFF” to get your first month for only $9 (reg. $29/month)!!
