Dottiebox, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a box curated every month for women. They feature high quality handmade items, small businesses, and indie brands. They offer their standard Dottiebox which is $26/month and a Dottiebox Mini subscription, which is $13/month.
Dottiebox ships via USPS Priority Mail and took two days to arrive. I got a bunch of boxes yesterday and this was one of them. It should be like that for the next few days around here too!
I didn’t see any spoilers for this one before I opened my box. The first look didn’t give me much in the way of clues, but I liked the one item I could see.
The June 2014 Dottiebox included the following not to be missed summer essentials:
~Nazari Jewelry Ring ($15): I like the black stone on this ring and love that it will work with everything.
~Starrily Nails (Glitter Nail Polish) ($10): Ahh, nail polish! This is a totally new brand for me and also a color that I know I do not already have. It’s a 5-Free polish and is also vegan and cruelty free. This brand has a lot of cool glitters and I may have to come back and browse again soon ;).
~Suny Island Blu Sea Salt Hair Spray ($5): Luckily this smells amazing because I dumped some of it on my shirt when I was trying to open it. It was a total user error and wasn’t the bottle’s fault at all! I love sea salt spray and this is another great one. I need to gather all my sprays together and use a different one each day to determine which is the best of the best because at this point I don’t even know.
~Elastic Hair Bandz Hair Ties ($3.50): Love these! I love the colors of the solids and the printed one even better!
All totaled I came up with a value of $33.50 for the June 2014 Dottiebox. I think this may just be my favorite Dottiebox ever! It had so many things I love in it and so many things I would have purchased on my own (had I known about them).

The Starrily nail polish was sent out to some in Ipsy a few months back. They sent out a mini bzz bzz color (yellow and black glitter).
Ohh, I didn’t know that! I hope they send some again because I wouldn’t mind more!
Have you tried many of the Dottiebox lip balms? I love the texture of the one I have (gingerale) but I really dislike the flavor. I want to buy others if the flavors are more true to description? Any recommendations?
I know I have gotten one in a Dottiebox. Let me look what the flavor was!
