Nerd Block Jr.

I walked out to the mailbox not expecting much mail, but I was shocked to find that it was packed full of subscription boxes! That’s what I like to see ;). And one of those boxes was L’s Nerd Block Jr.
Nerd Block Jr. is a monthly surprise box for kids! It’s is specifically designed for children (you can opt for a Boys Block or a Girls Block) aged 6-11 and is filled with toys and games just for them. They also offer an adult box for $29.49/month (that includes shipping). This Block is a Boys one for L, who is 6.
Nerd Block Jr. ships from Canada and took about a week to arrive. I received three boxes today from out of the country and I actually think they all took about a week.
I couldn’t see much in the first look, but I knew right away that L would like this box. I always mention it, but Nerd Block Jr. doesn’t have an information card. The contents are, however, listed on the customs sticker on the front of the box. Here is what was included in the June 2014 Nerd Block Jr. (Boy) box:
~Star Wars Darth Maul’s Mission ($3.99): L loves Star Wars and Legos and books, so this is awesome.
~Dragons Defenders of the Berk (Toothless Night Fury) ($8.97): I am guessing that this is from the movie How to Train Your Dragon? I have never seen it, but L has so he’ll know all about it!
~Mega Blocks Spider-Man Racer ($6.99): Totally a Quiet Box item for L. He’s still up-north so he hasn’t seen it and I was easily able to sneak away. He loves his Quiet Boxes and loves seeing what I put in them! And I love putting them together for him.
~Mega Blocks The Smurf’s Blind Pack ($2.99): I so want to open this and see what guy L got, but I am going to restrain myself and left him open it when he gets back. He likes these blind packs just as much as I do!
~Angry Birds Eraser ($1): I didn’t know what this was at first. I mean I knew it was an eraser, but I didn’t know what the character was. It’s Angry Birds! L will know.
All totaled I came up with a value of $23.94 for the June 2014 Nerd Block Jr. (Boy) box. It’s always just a bit over the cost of the box, but this is such an perfect box for L. He loves the craft boxes, but this is just a box of fun. Kind of like PopSugar is for me!
