Elizabeth & Clarke, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a quarterly subscription box which brings designer-quality blouses and tees to your door each season.  Shirts are a mix of blouses, tees and work appropriate tops in neutral colors – while, black, off-white and grey.

The Box

Elizabeth & Clarke ships via DHL Global Mail and took about 10 days to arrive to me.  E&C is in North Carolina and I am in Michigan.  Sometimes DHL surprises me and is so quick, but this was not one of those times.

First Look

I don’t know what was up with my camera yesterday (actually what was up with my horrible pictures) so you really can’t see it in the picture, but I was loving that shirt on top right away!

The Information Card

Each season Elizabeth & Clarke allows subscribers to select which shirt(s) they want to receive based on the current selections.  Here are the three I received:

~The Hart: Love this shirt!  It’s a plain (in a totally good way) long black v-neck. It’s pretty much everything I want in a t-shirt.  It’s soft and stretchy and just fabulous.  I hope they offer this in grey and white in future seasons because this is awesome.

~The Truman:  The Truman is something I wouldn’t wear on it’s own (although the model looks fabulous in it), but rather under a blazer or suit coat.  I rarely wore suits to work, but I was always digging for something to wear under it when I did and this would have worked nicely.

~The Orton: I really hope you can see the detail on this one in the picture.  The back of the collar has a slit in it, which I have never seen before.  I don’t personally know what I would wear it with, but the model looks amazing in this with a pencil skirt.

As usual, I cannot do a price price breakdown on this since the shirts are Elizabeth & Clarke branded.  If you opt for the 3/shirts per season it breaks down to $20/shirt which is more than reasonable.  In addition, if you are not 100% happy, return shipping is free (if you are located in the United States).

Did you get an Elizabeth & Clarke Summer?  What’d you think?  If you are interested in subscribing or just want to learn more, click here.  I believe Fall 2014 selections are open right now and I am already eyeing the “Ross“!

Am I the only one that these clothes just look awkward on? I even went down a size and the shirts come down to my knees. I’m not even short! lol They are super long but the blouses pinch into my stomach really weird, with the arms and sleeves super long and hang weird..and I dunno.. just odd.

    1. Jennifer

      That is odd!

No. Barbie….I totally know what your talking about! I am short waisted and almost 5’8″ and many of their shirts are super long on me yet some of them have been too tight in the waist. I also don’t care for all the high necks. I’m taking a break from them for a little while but I do really like the look of the upcoming fall collection so we will see if I cave!

Nope you’re not the only one. I thought it was just in my head! The Orton, OK, it is supposed to be oversized. But the White was also rather long on my 5’3″ average weight frame. The Hart was laughably long on me and I am hoping to return it and get it exchanged for the Truman which looks really cool and more fitted.

Where does it come from in NC? Just wondering if its down near Ipsy? LOL yes those are the things I wonder about 🙂

LOL! I will have to look!

Thanks for the great review! I love E&C. The Tshirt is a lot longer than I expected which rocks!! Because I am 5’9 and they are rarely this long. Hoping for a grey or white next time too. Fall doesn’t look as great and there are repeats so I may need to skip. Skip, not quit. Lol!
