You know the drill, I am stealing Jen’s Sunday Sentiments button and idea and making it mine tonight!
~Happy Sunday! We had a slow weekend around here. B spent yesterday feeling pretty sick (I thought he had appendicitis) and today was spent running errands, catching up on our sleep (like that’s ever going to happen) and getting B’s stuff ready for his trip.
~There is so much good tv on tonight I don’t even know where to start! I want to watch Miss USA and parts of the Tony’s and then of course I want to binge watch Orange is the New Black with B. Has anyone been watching? I think I should have watched the last episode of Season 1 again before I started Season 2. It took me a while to figure out where we left off!
~Has anyone ever tried VBlast water? I picked it up at the gas station before movie night at L’s school and was surprised by how good it is! I need to find a place that sells this stuff in bulk.
~WB got his first ever official muffin tin meal tonight and I think he was pretty pleased about it! All those choices! I should make myself muffin tin meals. They always look so good!
~I am finally making some progress with my Disney reservations / fast pass stuff and think I am good with all that. But can anyone give me some details on Legoland? We are planning a day trip there and I am curious how long we will need at the park? L is lego crazy, but will we need all day there or just a few hours? I am trying to decide if I should book a reservation back at Disney that day or if I should plan on just winging it? Any ideas? OMG I almost forgot, there is a Lululemon outfit right by Disney! Eeek! I cannot wait to get there.
~Has anyone started “The Vacationers” (the Birchbox Bookclub Book this month) yet? I am planning on starting it tonight and am hoping that I can get into it pretty quickly. If you have started it, report back on it!

Are you getting reservations that you want? So glad you are finding goodies. Not sure on Legoland since I haven’t been there yet but N wants to go and I was thinking a whole day since we will do rides and the waterpark area. You can always just use a quick service meal in the food court that night or even try a different resorts food court if you wanted. 🙂 That leaves you flexible if you decide to eat off site or something.
I bought a couple of the small muffin pans so I need to make my boys some meals. We may start that this week. They will think it is great.
I am. The only one I wanted but couldn’t get is the new place at Magic Kingdom. The be out guest place. I am not giving up yet though!
Keep trying since reservations change all the time. If you can’t get dinner you can always do lunch. Its counter service then so you can walk up and eat then.
That is what I am thinking. I will check and check and if I don’t have any luck, we’ll just do lunch!
You won’t need more than a day at Legoland. It’s very small. My boy loves Lego’s too and only needs a half day to get everything done at Legoland. He loves the waterfowl more than the theme park and can spend all day there if I let him! Good luck with your booking!

I henna dyed my hair this weekend! My first time. I used Lush henna. Did you know they recently stopped applying it for you in stores? I had to do it myself. So messy, but fun. But, gosh, the scent is still killing me. Ew. Not sure I can use Lush’s again.
I also listed a few purses on Poshmark! I’ve never sold on there. We will see how it goes.
P.S. My Sunday night has been spent trying to resist ordering Nina Garcia’s Q3 box. Gah…

I haven’t caved yet. I figure that I’ll buy her Q4 box + the PS box in the fall. It’s more my favorite season than summer (I’m in landlocked, humid Iowa!). But, I’m afraid I’ll regret it… 🙂
I can’t wait to hear what other people think about this book. The beginning is really slow, I hope it gets better!
You are such a good mom.. we were running out of time at Disney so we went to lego store in downtown disney. My boys 2 and 4 didn’t even know it wasn’t lego land.. but we did spend probably an hour there or if u go maybe 2 hours and make reservations for rainforest. The bus ride take for ever it’s so stressful trying to budget time to make it back to eat. And they loved eating at rainforest by then they were pretty homesick so they thought it was cool, as we go to rain forest at greatelakes crossing all the time. Where are you guys stayin? And there’s a lululemon OUTLET there?? We I totally missed that memo 🙁

The Lululemon outlet is at Orlando Premium Outlets. It’s super close to disney! We’ll have a car, so it’s easy to just run over there. We are staying at Art of Animation. Where did you stay?
We stayed at contemporary but didn’t do the whole car rental thing.. probably next time though.
I am LOVING season 2 of Orange is the New Black… I feel like I’ve been waiting forever for it!! I am on Episode 6… I am trying not to finish it in a week but i know it’ll happen.
I know! Once B leaves, it’s all over for me. I know I will watch them ALL.
What’s this muffin tin meal? I tried to Google it but didn’t get anything good. Is there a system? (Like you need to eat something from each column? Do you need to eat everything?)
No real story. Just a bunch of different variety of stuff in a muffin tin.

We actually had so much fun at the Lego theme park part that we never even made it to the water park. We’ve been twice now and love it, my 5 yr old loves that he can do everything there (well there’s one ride he can’t yet). I would definitely plan on the better part of a day at Legoland!
Ohh, how tall do you have to be there? I wonder how much L will be able to do!
We spent the whole day at Legoland. I wasn’t sure if we’d need all day just like you’re wondering but there really is a lot to do there. We didn’t even get to do everything we wanted to. But I have older boys ages 8 and 10 so that might make a difference.
Maybe? I think we’ll play it safe and assume we will be there most of the day.
I would recommend an entire day at Legoland. We spent the whole day there before they had the waterpark. I’ve heard that with the waterpark it’s even better.
I haven’t started watching the new season of OITNB yet but I can’t wait to start tonight!! Good call on suggesting to watch the last episode of season 1 first! I will definitely do that.

I love your muffin tin meal idea and am totally going to steal it once my Allie gets a bit older. I’m sure you guys will miss B a lot, but enjoy all the *you* time and OITNB-watching! I can’t believe I missed Miss USA! I’m so off the grid right now with moving. I STILL have tons of boxes to unpack, but I do desperately want to read The Vacationers, even if I don’t get around to it until later. Seems like a great summer read!

Are you going to Disneyland or Disneyworld? At DL, getting to the park is so easy – I typically stay at a hotel within walking distance. DW on the other hand… I’ve found that it takes ages. Typically an hour from the time we entered the parking lot. The transportation directly from the Disney hotels looked so convenient. We were a little jealous. My “I wish I would have known” tip… rain ponchos!!!! We live in Las Vegas and always forget about rain. Dollar store rain ponchos went a long way to keeping us dry-ish.
Wait, I have a second tip. Download your photos EVERY night. Someone stole my camera on the last day of our vacation. I’m still very sad. 🙁
Oh no! I can’t believe it got stolen! That sucks!!! We are going to Disney world. We always stay on property. The transportation system cannot be beat! Although we have driven to the parks too!
Don’t get toooooo excited about the Lulu outlet in Orlando…. I rarely find anything “spectacularly priced” there and it usually seems like it’s a ton of the stuff that they couldn’t sell even in their “we made too much” section. First time I went I was bummed… Respective times I was mentally prepared. The last time I was there (ironically the exact same day you wrote this post — weird!) I actually found a few things I wanted. Prices same as when they were on final sale online/in-stores.
But have fun at Disney!!
The first time I went there I thought the same thing! LOTS of black pants! But I am ready this time and won’t expect too much amazing stuff!
