It’s that time again! July 2014 ipsy and Birchboxes are up! Here’s how to check what you are getting:
~Birchbox: If you want to know what you are getting this month, log into your account and click “Box” and then “Women’s Box”. You’ll be able to see the contents of your July 2014 Box right there! I am getting Box #16 this month which has the following:
I am super excited about the Benefit Posiebalm and the Caudalie Oil! This box looks like a good fit for me and I hope it gets here soon!
~ipsy: If you are wondering what’s coming in your July 2014 ipsy My Glam bag, head to your account and click “My Glam Room” in the top right of the homepage (once you login). It will show you your June 2014 bag and in the drop down menu you can see all your previous months. If you want to see all the items ipsy sent out this month, you’ll see a link at the bottom of your Glam Room which will expand page to show them all to you. After looking at all of the other items from this month, I am super happy with my bag! I probably would have picked 3 of these as my wanted ipsy items from this month anyway!

Mine is ok but I’m getting the tanning oil that I will never use. The only person I know who would is my stepdad he still worships the sun so I’ll give it to him. 🙂 depending on color im good with my other items.
I’m getting Birchbox #28 this month. I’m excited about the Lip Lube Pencil and hair mask, but have enough eye cream to last years! I was disappointed with my Ipsy bag so cancelled. Knowing me, I’ll probably resubscribe in a month or two!
I feel like I can’t ever cancel ipsy because I don’t want to be on the waiting list again!
For my Birchbox I am receiveing the same first 3 as you, excpet I opted for the Relic color nail polish. I am also getting a Coastal Scents Revealed 2 Palette Set, Supergoop Daily Correct CC Cream and Marcelle New Age 8 in 1 Power Serum.
In my Ipsy bag I am also getting the bareMinerals 5 in 1 BB eyeshaddow, Hang Ten Dark TAnning Oil, Pixi Beauty Mini Tinted Brilliance Balm, Pop Beauty Sunkissed Bronzer, and Sexy Hair Soy Renewal Beach Spray Conditioning & Texturizing Spray.
I am very excited for both. My birchbox has shipped, and now I am just waiting for my Ipsy bag to ship. Cant wait!
By the way, how do you know what box number you are getting from Birchbox? I don’t see a number on mine.
If you click “July 2014” under history, you will be taken to a screen with just your July box and you can see the box number at the end of the URL!

I am super excited about my Ipsy bag. I am getting the same first 2 as you, the Hang Ten tanning oil (I think I am the only one excited about this, lol), Clear Clinic Spot Treatment & the Nailtini Mangotini Nail Polish. All in all I LOVED my bag picks. I looked at all the other offering & this is the first time I can honestly say I wouldn’t have wanted anything else. I don’t get BB though, I get Glossybox. So far from the peeks I am excited about that too. Well worth the $ spent this month. =)
Ok I got an email that says it was shipped, the page says not subscribed but it shows what I’m getting, bare minerals eye shadow & travel size of the pur-lisse finally a travel size!
I am going to have so much pur-liesse I will be set for years!
I’m not getting the exact same Birchbox as you, but I am getting the Ruffian rosary and the Benefit Posiebalm! Very excited about those too. I’m also getting the Harvey Prince Hello lotion, some sort of oil, and some sort of face treatment. I’m working from my memory here!

Ohh, how do you like the Harvey Prince Body Cream??
It smells amazing. Kinda citrusy. It’s creamy while not being heavy. I’m definitely putting it on my wish list.
If you’d like the HP Body Cream, I could pass it on to you. I wasn’t a big fan of the perfume, and I’m SO overloaded with body creams right now!!! I feel like I’ve got a part-time job finding homes for lotions and mascaras! =)
It’s probably similar to my job relocating eyeliner and tea! I would love the HP. Is there anything you are ISO?
Gee, I forgot about the nail polish, which I’m not getting this month. I clicked on the choose your color email an hour after it came and chose one – later in the afternoon I got the “we had a site glitch so go back and try again” I clicked an hour after I got that to try again and the two colors I wanted were gone. I hope you love the Rosary, that is what I wanted most!
I might have box envy even though I like the stuff in my box, I just would like a bit more makeup instead of skin and hair stuff.
I submitted super early to get my nail polish. I got lucky!
I know I should resist the urge to look at my box contents, but I don’t seem to be able to do that. I am much happier with my ipsy box than my birchbox. If it wasn’t for the 9.99 refund I would cancel my Birchbox this month. For birchbox, I got the lipgloss I got to choose, which I like, but I’m not excited about the other four things: a facial brightener, shaving cream, hair serum, and scented body cream. In ipsy, I got cream eyeshadow in SPF, which if it is a good color on me is awesome, a tinted balm, which is good, a bronzer, which is acceptable, and hair product spray and tanning oil that I won’t use. That is one good sample to three good samples. I’m learning that I value most makeup and SPF products.
I got the BB cream eyeshadow like you, and the Elizabeth Mott tint thing. I also am getting the tanning oil, a nailtini nail polish, and spot treatment for pimples. I’m excited about most of it.. not so much the tint thing.. my mom is getting that blue nail polish like you, so I’m thinking I might offer to trade her since my nailtini is a more nuetrel color. I think i’m most excited for the tanning oil, and the spot treatment honestly. And I’m hoping this bag is waterproof.!
I’m totally not excited about my ipsy. I am getting tanning oil and some nail polish that is totally not my color. I”m a bright colorful sort of gal and this is a nude! And I get tan enough in the summer w/ my constant applications of sun screen. I’m never going to be one to go out and just boringly sit somewhere trying to get tan. If there is a body of water I’m going to be in it or sailing on it.
My birchbox I’m pretty excited about. I am getting box #1! It looks like fun stuff to try.
In BB I’m getting: LAQA & Co. Lip Lube Pencil, Ruffian Nail Polish that I picked & the remover towelettes, Real Chemistry Peel, Balance Me Eye Cream, & Beauty Protector Hair Mask. I’ll trade the lip pencil, I’ll be okay with trying the eye cream, but I’m super excited about everything else!
In Ipsy I’m getting: bareMinerals 5 in 1 BB cream, Hang Ten tanning oil, Pixi Beauty tinted balm, Pop Beauty bronzer, & Sexy Hair spray. I’ll trade the tinted balm and everything else looks great! Also, the actual bag isn’t that cute, especially after the last 2 months 🙁
All in all, BB wins. 6 items=60 points and I love that I got to choose Ruffian nail polish which I discovered through BB and absolutely love <3
Also, there’s 2 Beauty Protector Hair Mask samples in the picture on my box page. Hopefully that means I’ll be getting 2 samples 😉

I wish I would have gotten your Ipsy bag. You got the bronzer which is the item I wanted most this month.. I was also really hoping for the sexy hair product. I got a bag of stuff I won’t use….this was my eighth Ipsy bag and most dissapointing one yet.
I have the full size caudalie overnight oil and it is AMAZING! It sinks into the skin really fast and doesn’t leave you greasy. My skin has never looked better. The only hard part that you have to get past is the smell. If you can get past that you will love it
Can you pick and choose each month what you get in your birchbox or your ipsy bag? I get a lot of things that I don’t ever use.

I love my birchbox this month. I got box 42, and everything in the box sounds interesting. I am most looking forward to the Caudalie Divine Oil sample which apparently you can use in your hair also (which is what I am gonna use it for)
My Ipsy looks good. Already received the Birchbox and, as usual, it sucks. Stinky scent and the teeniest Supergoop in a shade I can’t use. Will cancel as soon as I can review and get my points. I keep re-upping when there is a great deal, but am always disappointed, even when it ends up free. I would have loved almost everything in your box. I think I got box 14 but I’m not sure.
Have you tried any of Benefit’s lip / cheek tint/stain products? I’m in love with Cha-cha tint. I think it’s the perfect summer shade!

My Ipsy bag is the WORST I’ve gotten….I was shocked at how much I hated it. Several items included I’ve rated poorly in previous bags so was not happy to see them….one of which is nail polish. I have gotten nail polish in several bags and have given it the worst rating I could….not because I hate nail polish but because I’m picky on colors and Ipsy seems to send crazy colors that I won’t use. I got some acne stuff in a tiny vial? I have no idea why I got this….. Got a hideous (for me) cheek and lip tint. It’s very red and bright….. The bare minerals cream shadow is Tiny….. The only item I might use is the tanning oil. I wanted the bronzer so bad….I didn’t get bronzer last time they has it and missed it again. I just was really upset overall with my bag….
Well, I finally cancelled my ipsy, birchbox, and beauty box five. I just couldn’t justify $32.00 a month when I was liking maybe one thing in each box, if that. I somehow never get any of the things I want, not one. I’m subscription cursed! 🙂 Every month when I would look at my glam room and birchbox contents I would say “COME ON! Just give me one thing this month I love!” I have only lip products marked in my ipsy profile, and I have never gotten one single one when it’s optional-not the pixi, not the benefit, not the urban decay, not the cailyn-the only time that I’ve ever gotten a lip product it of course isn’t a pink that I wear but a bright bright red. I don’t have any hair products marked at all but I get them no matter what. And I don’t wear perfume because it gives me migraines, but every single time there was a perfume sample it was headed straight for me. I finally just figured I would save that money and get a nice pedicure or something. I will miss the fun of getting the package in the mail though. I’m not blaming them for not giving me exactly what I wanted, it was just time for me to cancel.

I wanted to share with you that I have been snooping around your blog and other peoples blogs and youtube videos on Birchbox and Ipsy. I finally decided that I would try out Birchbox. I like that they have more of a variety of products and not just makeup. I am not a big makeup person. I think that this will be a cool way to try new things that I wouldn’t normally try otherwise. I am excited to see what I get in my first box.

Seriously not impressed with my Ipsy this month. This is my fifth month and they seem to be declining every month. I got the Five-in-1 cream, sunkissed bronzer, tanning oil, beach wave spray and pixi lipbalm. The only thing I really like is the lip palm. The beach spray just made my hair sticky and tangled. I am fairly light skinned so the bronzer would look funny on me and the tanning oil as well. The 5-in-1 cream was super dark it made me look like I had a black eye almost
