Ohh, I loved the box this month! It was so fun and totally fit the theme. I would love to see them do more of this!
The July 2014 Loot Crate theme is “Villains” and the following items which pay homage to “the baddies that everyone loves to hate”:
~Joki Villain T-Shirt: Love it! This shirt was designed just for Loot Crate and I don’t think there is anywhere else you can get it but here!
~Exclusive Rocket Raccoon Comic by Marvel & Diamond Comics & Harley Quinn and Joker Posters by DC Comics & Trends International: Oh I so look forward to seeing where L tries and talks me into hanging these posters! LOL! I don’t know much about Rocket Raccoon, but one of the girls in a FB Trade group I am in has called dibs on this for her husband and I an under strict instructions not to open, bend, or touch (okay I made that one up) at this ;).
~Deadpool Socks by Marvel Comics & HYP: If I put these in B’s drawer with all his other socks, I wonder if he’d wear them to work? I bet he would and wouldn’t even notice. I am going to try that!
~Darth Vader Key Chain: I still haven’t gotten a chance to show L the original Star Wars movie! Ugh! I need to get on that asap. Since he doesn’t have keys I generally use these kinds of things as decoration for his backpack. It works out well!
~Necessary Evil DVD by DC Comics & Warner Brothers: I am going to put this in for L tonight when he gets home and see what he thinks. I could use a little refresher on some of the villains out there too. You need to know who to watch out for!
~Bowser Magnet by Loot Crate Labs: Ha. I hate this villain. He gets me all the time! I need to find a place to display all the cool magnets we get from various boxes. Our fridge isn’t magnetic. I might have to get one of those magnetic strips from IKEA and put it up in the playroom.
Since lots of this stuff was Loot Crate exclusives I didn’t do a cost breakdown on this box. I thought it was a super cool box though and am happy to report it I recognized a good number of the villains featured in here. I hope they stick with the broader themes because it gives something for everyone!

My 15 year old LOVES this box. He says it is awesome and really likes the shirt and socks. He likes that the shirts are exclusive to Loot Crate. He feels that the socks make the package and hopes that there will be more in the future.
We loveee everything in this loot crate including the box, it is amazing so this box is a keeper too. My husband is into comics since he was a kid and recently he started introducing my kid to this, so as soon as they open the box they were deciding who will be reading this first, and the T is incredible, when my husband go to comic conventions with the loot crate Ts he always get asked where did he buy them. And we have scheduled the documental for today too 🙂
That is so cool! It’s hard to narrow down the boxes isn’t it??
All of them are just better than the latest 😀 Did you order the mystery box they did for July, I got it and we already have some of the things there but I like it 🙂
I didn’t. What’d you get?
My fridge is magnetic but talking about those strips we have one in Ns room for him to hang his art on. You could do something like that and use the cute magnets for that.
That is a good idea! We have a little thing we use to hang out artwork in the playroom, but there is always more artwork than there is space!
Ooooohhhhh noooooooooo I should have signed up in time for this one! I love Deadpool to pieces and I would seriously wear those socks!
/nerdyderail tho, what is Rocket Raccoon doing in the villains box? Deadpool’s been a good guy for years too… more or less… lol
That Rocket Raccoon comic book is based on that new movie coming out Guardians of the Galaxy, I hope you sold it at a High price. 🙂
Is this going to be worth millions some day?
No I don’t think that much.
We loved this month! Mostly I get the box for my 12 year old daughter, but I took the tshirt this time! She liked the comic, which I let her read and enjoy in the pool (gasp!).
