OishiiBox
Cost: $12/month
Ships To: United States.
OishiiBox, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a monthly subscription box filled with a collection of candies, snacks and everything kawaii from Korea, Japan, Taiwan and beyond.
OishiiBox ships via USPS and arrived very quickly. OishiiBox is typically shipped and delivered within the first two weeks of every month.
I have gotten a lot of subscription boxes over the years and this has to be one of the most nicely arranged snack boxes. It looked perfect when I opened it. You could so tell that someone took the time to carefully arrange everything for a great first impression. And it was noticed for sure!
OishiiBox includes both a general information card, as well as, a detailed information card with product information, ingredient, information, etc. I think this was the first box like this that I have received that has included this type of information. Here are what snacks this box includes:
~Umaibou Vegetable Salad: I have no idea if this is even the correct direction or not. LOL. There was quite as assortment of flavors here. I couldn’t really figure out which were the ones I liked and which were the ones I didn’t! Interesting for sure.
~Lotte Waffle: These are excellent. With a layer of nutella on them they would probably be beyond incredible!
~White Rabbit Creamy Candy: These are milky candies wrapped in rice paper and I can’t say that I am a fan. They sound good (sort of), but they aren’t for me.
~Strawberry Pocky: I like pocky sticks, but strawberry isn’t as amazing as chocolate. At least for me! It’s been than the green tea ones though.
~Kameda Kakinotane Wasabi Snack: I am saving these for B. I have tried similar ones and I am just not a fan of wasabi on my snacks!
~Lotte Koala’s March: Love these. I love ones like this they sell in the One Spot at Target, but these are even better!
~Chocolate Panda Biscuits: I haven’t gotten a chance to try these yet, but I suspect you can’t go wrong with any type of panda cookies.
~Strawberry & Green Tea Kit Kats: In the States if you see green covered chocolate you think it’s mint flavored right? At least I do anyway. But these green KitKats are green tea flavored. The white are Strawberry flavored.Neither are bad, but they aren’t as amazing as the original either.
~Matcha Green Tea Crunch: I think I actually like green tea crunch bars better than green tea kitkats. Still not my favorite flavor for candy, but not awful either. I think it just takes some getting used to.
~Fusen Melon Gum: Totally a B item! I have never been a fan of gum so all the interesting flavors I receive are pretty much lost on me.
~Lotte Choco Pie: Clearly this is delicious. How could it be anything else but good?
~Baby Cookie Snack: I gave these to WB and he didn’t throw them back in my face, so I suppose he liked them. LOL! He also didn’t feed them to the dogs (he likes to do that with his food too), so that’s a win.
~Umeboshi Hard Candy: I actually don’t know where I put this so I haven’t been able to try it!
~Otsumamu 10 Sen Baked Rice Crackers: I am totally hoping that someone can guess the flavor for this for me. The ingredients include anchovy, cuttlefish (?), soybean, etc.
I couldn’t do a cost breakdown on this box, but for $12/month including shipping I think it’s a great deal! I love trying all the different snacks and treats and wouldn’t mind if every country had a box like this!
