Q Box, who sent me this box to review, sends 5-7 hand-selected items in beauty, fashion, accessories, home from mainly Japanese and Korean brands. Boxes are $24.95/month and promise to include full sized products with a value of $60+.
Q Box ships from Canada and, in general, takes about a week to arrive. I am always impressed when I get something from another country more quickly than something that is just going between states!
I always forget what the spoilers are for the boxes so every time I open a Q Box it’s a total surprise! This month’s first look was very bright!
The July 2014 Q Box doesn’t have a theme (they typically don’t), but it included the following items:
~Dolly Cat Eyeliner ($10): Does anyone else find that their hand just isn’t steady enough for liquid eyeliner? I don’t wear eyeliner much (I wear it as often as I drink tea really), but the times I have tried to apply liquid eyeliner it’s just been a mess.
~AZUL Double Pearl Cuff Bangle ($20): Simple, yet still very cute! You can add it to any stack or just wear it alone!
~Rilakkuma Chopsticks and Storage Case Set ($7.50): I am super excited about these. I still need to learn how to use chopsticks (B knows though), but these might make actually inspire me to try harder. They are very cute and I love that they have a storage case.
~Half Yearly Planner ($2.50): I have my EC planner, so I will probably end up passing this along to someone. I think it would work great for someone younger – maybe in middle school?
~TonyMoly CatChu Wink Lipstick ($10): I so cannot wait to see what my sister-in-law hints of this! She’s an attorney and I hope she brings her new cat lipstick to court. LOL! How funny would that me. I think think this company just does cat lipsticks, but I think they should do all the animals. Dogs, cats, chickens, etc. How cute would that be??
~Repetto Ribbon Tote Bag ($22): I am not familiar with this brand, but I like the bright yellow tote! There is seriously no way I will ever misplace this. No way. I should carry it everywhere and keep my phone in it because I am constantly losing that. Actually I should use this as a storage bag for all the things I always use. Earphones, hair ties, etc.
All totaled I came up with a value of $72 for the July 2014 Q Box. As usual I used prices from the Q Box card because it’s hard to find most of this stuff for sale online and if I can, it’s generally quite expensive!
