The box I was most anticipating yesterday when I arrived home was the August 2014 Nicky Hilton Fancy Box. I hadn’t been able to find any spoilers on it, so I was super excited to open it and see what it included.
Just in case you aren’t familiar, Fancy, which is $39/month (plus shipping), has a “regular” Fancy Box full of cool goodies and celebrity curated boxes which include a collection of the coolest products hand-picked by Nicky Hilton (which is their latest celebrity collaboration) Jennifer Love Hewitt, Verbal, Kelly Rowland, Coco Rocha, Snoop Dogg, T-Pain and / or The Rockettes. They also offer a Fancy Food Box (which is one of my favorites), a Culinary Box and Fancy Mystery Boxes.
Fancy Box ships via FedEx and takes two days to arrive to me. This box shipped on Thursday and arrived on Saturday.
Once again this box was super empty and very light. My first thought, honestly, was “why don’t they just use smaller boxes”?
The August 2014 Nicky Hilton Fancy Box didn’t have a noticeable theme (although I would say it was quite close to being a cat themed box), but included the following items:
~Rifle Paper Co. Greeting Card ($5): I.love.this. I already know exactly who I am going to send this to (which would be Lisa over at Yuppie Traveler who I went to college with) and I know she will love it. I cracked up as soon as I saw it. It’s totally framable.
~Paris Versus New York Book ($20): This books great! Cute pictures and comparisons and a total coffee table book. I just need to decide which city I like better – which would require spending a few weeks in each. One day!
~Kitten Pouch ($16): I am actually allergic to cats, but they are cute little creatures! I don’t know what I am going to put in little kitten pouch, but I love it. Actually I think I will use it in my purse because it will go with my hot pink bag.
~AJ Morgan Sunglasses ($24): It’s doubtful I will look as cool as Nicky Hilton does wearing these, but I will give it my best! I have gotten some crazy sunglasses over the years from Fancy, but these are relatively tame. Not like the hot pink ones B always shakes his head at when I wear ;).
~Athena Wrap Around Ring ($55): This is the only item I am not totally in love with from this box. It’s very pretty, but I just don’t know if it’s my style or not. The ring is adjustable but I don’t want to bend it all up until I know if I am keeping it or not.
All totaled the August 2014 Nicky Hilton Fancy Box had a value of $120! Just like last month I loved this box and *think* this one may be my new favorite Fancy Box. Nicky Hilton has great taste and I am seeing a lot of unfamiliar brands in here which I love!
