~Happy Monday! After L got home from up-north yesterday we decided to take a little trip to the beach! We live near a few small beaches, but wanted to go to Lake Huron, because, well, it’s better. So anyway, the boys had a great time. L loved the waves and both of them loved playing in the sand. We will for sure be back this summer.
~Let’s see, what subscription boxes are coming this week? I am expecting PopSugar, the Kelly Rowland Fancy Box, maybe my Fancy Food Box, PashPack (that’s an adult box..), Birchbox, Love with Food, Wantable Intimates, Googaro, and probably ipsy.
~I have gotten a few questions about Tieks, so I thought I’d do a mini review. Likes: 1) The fun colors they come in. They seriously have so many great colors that it makes it hard to decide. 2) That they fold up. Tieks come with a little pouch that you can put them in and throw in your purse. They take up no space and could be a lifesaver to keep in your bag or office drawer if you are wearing an uncomfortable pair of shoes. 3) They are comfortable! You do have to break them in, but once you do, they are perfect. 4) Their customer service is amazing. If you order an 8 and think maybe a 7 would have worked better, they will send you the 7 (free) and let you decide which you want to keep. 5) The quality is amazing. They are hand stitched, make from Italian leather and will last for ages. Dislikes: 1) They are expensive! Classics start at $175. Patents at $195. Prints at $265! 2) They don’t come in half sizes. I wear an 8.5 / 9 so I went for the 9 and they work for me, but they generally recommend sizing down. Half sizes would be better for a lot of people though.

~Did anyone else watch the Teen Choice Awards last night? Why don’t I know who any of those people are. Well, I know a few. But some of them I wouldn’t recognize in a crowd of one! I need to get with it!
~My washi tape (so many uses, so little time) / planner obsession is back in full force and I celebrated by buying a bunch of stickers from etsy (my SIL is a complete enabler and keeps sending me all these shop names she likes) and some new washi! It was only $1 for all four rolls, so I HAD to do it. With school starting up soon I need to make sure I am all organized. I was checking out his school calendar over the weekend and am hoping to plan a trip for either his winter break (in February) or his Spring Break (April) soon. There are just too many options and I can’t decide what we want to do!
~And I am FINALLY going to update our photo wall in the house (slow down) and need to know where everyone gets their pictures printed? I think I asked this before and it was Mixbook? Is that still where I need to get this done? I need a bunch of pictures and don’t want to pay a ton, but still want them to be super high quality. Tips?
