You know the drill, I am stealing Jen’s Sunday Sentiments button and idea and making it mine tonight!
~Let’s see, what’s going on here? L is back from up-north (YAY!) and we’re just just enjoying the beautiful weather. I swear, I’m going to blink and it’s going to be snowing again. I think we have our garage sale set for next weekend (I think) so I am still getting things together for that. I’m this close to just taking everything to the Salvation Army and calling it done. LOL. If for some reason the garage sale doesn’t happen this weekend I can totally see that happening.
~I have mentioned it before, but we don’t have cable – only a digital antenna. Unlike the old days you get an amazing picture in HD with just an antenna and we get ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, PBS, etc. So anyway, ABC hasn’t been coming in for a while and it’s driving me nuts. I’ve tried resetting it on the tv – nothing. I can get it in my office, but not in the living room. I need to talk B into crawling up in the attic to screw around with the antenna, but so far I am not having any luck. LOL! Do you think maybe he’s doing in on purpose so I have to watch The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise in a separate room? It’s possible ;). Totally possible.
~GLOSSYBOX sent me a sneak peek of their August 2014 box! ~My thredUP order is here (finally). It takes over a week to arrive from the West Coast, but it’s always so worth it. This batch of things is all for WB. L wouldn’t be down for all that pink and orange these days! If you are a new thredUP customer you can get a code for 40% off your first order when you sign up. If you are an existing customer, I totally recommend ordering and Monday’s and / or Wednesdays because they have 10% off codes on the app those days! My total for all this was $49 which isn’t bad at all considering it’s all Crew Cuts and Ralph Lauren and looks brand new! If you haven’t shopped through them before I for sure recommend going for a higher-end brand. I can get brand new GapKids on clearance super cheap, but CrewCuts for cheap? Not as often.
~I have been getting a lot of questions about Tieks, so I will do a mini review on them in tomorrow’s post! I am also feeling quite ambitious tonight (no idea why), but I might just have to do a newsletter for the morning as well! If you haven’t signed up for that yet, you can do so here. ~I am pretty that Jen is starting a Back-To-School Advocare 10-Day Cleanse group for Monday, 8/18, so if you have ever wanted to give a try, it’s time! I am going to participate because I have been eating like crap this summer and need a kick in the (super tight) pants! Plus it’s a good way to see if you like it without investing the bucks that the 24-Day Challenge costs.
~What’s up with Beyonce and Jay-Z? Are the rumors true or is it like the OMG Jennifer Aniston is pregnant stories? You know, something they report on all the time, but is never true? What other celebrity gossip have you heard lately? Is Jen Garner pregnant? Justin Bieber in trouble again? What’s up?
