Yay!  My My Subscription Box Addiction Quarterly Co. box arrived this afternoon!  I have been stalking the mailman for it and here it is!

If you aren’t familiar, Quarterly is a new way to connect with the people you follow and find interesting. Quarterly Co. offers subscription boxes (which are shipped on a quarterly basis) from well known curators which are filled with things they love.  This box is the My Subscription Addition box which was curated by Liz Cadman, who is the author of the popular subscription box blog called “My Subscription Addiction“.  I have been reading her blog for years and when this box was announced I knew I had to sign up for it!

The Box

Quarterly Co. ships via USPS.  My box took a full week to arrive.  I was actually getting a tad worried it was lost, but it arrived safely today.  It was heavier than I expected and also smaller.

I knew what was in this box, but I couldn’t wait to check out what variations I received.  And of course to look at everything in it in person.

The Information Card / Letter

The My Subscription Addiction #MSA01 Quarterly Co. box had a “Fall Favorites” theme and included a few of Liz’s favorite items for fall.  The information card / letter tells you a bit about all of the products along with why the curator selected them for the box.  With some of the celebrity curated boxes, it’s hard to tell if the celebs really participated, but with the Quarterly Co. boxes, the letters are so personalized that I never wonder that.  Here is what the box included:

~Fig + Yarrow Cardamon + Coffee Body Scrub ($22): Oddly enough I was just looking through my stash for a body scrub!  This scrub smells incredible and has all natural and organic ingredients.  If you read her blog, you know that Liz is very ingredient conscious and her Quarterly Co. box reflects that!

~Raw Naturals Candle in Chai Latte ($24):  Wow, this smells amazing!  This brand is new to me and I love it.  I am hoping I will be able to trade for more.  If not I will certainly be buying more for the holidays.

~Simonetta Infinity Knit Scarf ($25): There were four different variations for this scarf (you can see them all here) and this was one of my favorites.  The only one I liked more was the black and white one, but really, do I need another black infinity scarf?  No.  This is super soft and will be awesome for the coming months.

~Tatcha Polished Classic Rice Enzyme Powder ($65): When I saw this spoiler first posted I didn’t research the product too much and though it was a face powder.  Like a blotting powder type thing.  No, it’s a cleanser and exfoliator!  Perfect.  As soon as I get my skin under control I am going to begin using this daily.

~Juice Beauty Reflecting Gloss (Fig) ($15): There are very few lip glosses I don’t like so this is a win!  I love the color I received (there were also four variations of this one) and have this in my purse already.

~Coupons: The box also came with an assortment of coupons including 75% off your first JustFab order.  Since they are coupons I didn’t assign any value to them, but I might just end up using the JustFab one.

Coupons

All totaled I came up with a value of $151 for the My Subscription Addiction Quarterly Co. #MSA01 box and I loved it!  I used some coupons (which are now expired) on this, so I only paid $25 for it and I am thrilled.  I am already super excited for the November box to get here!  I think Liz did a fabulous job with this box and I couldn’t be happier!

Did you get the My Subscription Addiction Quarterly Co box?  What variations did you get and what did you think?  If you are interested in subscribing (the next box ships in November) you can click here to get signed up.  One of the best things about Quarterly is that they will not bill you until it shipped, so you don’t have to pay for something two months before it ships!

Obsessed with this box. I was in love with the candle…but then I left it burning in my bathroom overnight and now…no more candle 🙁 I’m bummed it’s gone…but I guess I should be happy the house didn’t burn down. LOL!

I thought I was going to be bummed by only 5 items – I am not someone who minds the “filler” items – but I wasn’t at all! I loved all of them!

    1. Jennifer

Ahhh, I have done that a few time. Always freaks me out.

I always set a timer or the timer on my phone for either 30 minutes to an hour (depending on the candle). I can not tell you how many times that timer bell has caused me to remember a candle I have forgot. Usually 30 minutes to an hour is plenty of time for good quality candles to scent a room. My candles seem to burn longer when I put them out, cool down and harden and re light later.

Love this box too! I got the same exact box as you with the same scarf variation and fig lipgloss. I’ve been using the Tatcha for a couple days now and my skin looks and feels amazing. I was also able to get this with the coupons you used so it was an awesome deal. This box is worth the full price of $50 so I am definitely going to be a regular subscriber.

    1. Jennifer

Same! I was very happy with that scarf. It’s just so soft!

  3. Tammy

I got the same as yours except with the navy scarf. I was only planning on trying this once, but I think I can’t let it go!

  4. Laura

I loved this box though I liked the your variations more – I got the champagne gloss and the blue/brown scarf. Any idea if there are codes to be used on the second box?

  5. Beth K.

Sad I missed this box – I never got off the wait list – but I am all signed up for #MSA02! Glad you’re enjoying everything.

  6. Tabitha Hunter

I love the scarf and the variation you received. Bummed I missed out and can’t pick one up. It’s the perfect fall scarf. If you get bored with it, I call dibs! 😉 I will happily buy it from you.

    Is this box sold out?

    1. Jennifer

      Yes, this one is.

  8. Lindi

Totally agree that this was an amazing box! I was worried that I might be disappointed but I loved all the items included. I used the body scrub this morning. So nice!

  9. Lindi

Did you use the JustFab coupon? I used mine last night on a super nice pair of boots and I can’t wait to receive them.

    1. Jennifer

      Not yet!

So happy you loved the box Jen! That means so much coming from a fellow subscription box expert! 🙂

I am not subbed yet but on the wait list for the second box. I am unsure about the first spoiler because it is a wool throw but very usable and my hubby says I freeze him up so I think we will like it. I think she did a great job and hope she has more Tatcha in store for the future. I loved what she offered in the first box. I love coffee scents personally!!! I loved everything but the scarf may have been too heavy for me. I would have loved a berkshire throw. 🙂

    1. Jennifer

Did you see the second spoiler for the MSA box??

  12. brandy

It was cream eye shadows. I forget the brand, she posted on another vegan subscription review that featured the same items so she didn’t wanna give away another spoiler but did since it was in another box as well. A vegan box she reviewed a few days ago. I forget which one but I will try to find it. 🙂

    1. Jennifer

It was on the Petit Vour review! I was just wondering if you’d seen it!

  13. brandy

Did you see it too? If so what is the brand?

  14. brandy

Yes, I forgot the review and had just found it. Looks great as the one she said can also be used as a highlighter and the other one is so great as it’s an exclusive shade to MSA subscribes. I hope to make it off the wait list in time. Petit Vour looks great too. I was trying to decide on a vegan sub and looked into 3 I like besides MSA and I just can’t decide.
