September 2014 Citrus Lane Sneak Peek / Spoilers

A few September 2014 Citrus Lane spoilers appeared on Facebook today. Not sure which age group is getting which item, but I would be quite happy with either a new Cloud B Octo Night Light or a Melissa and Doug (I think thats who it’s by) clock!  Seriously that Cloud B night light is the coolest thing ever.  The boys have one (they have to share it) and I got one for my SIL’s boys for Christmas and it was a huge hit with them as well.  It’s so cool.

If you are new to Citrus Lane, there is still time to get the September box for only $5! Just use coupon code “NEWMOM” at checkout and it’s all yours!

I know I am getting a onesie of some sort because I got an email asking me to select a size. That little octopus is super cute and goes with the underwater them of Jack’s room. I hope I get that. =]

      That would be perfect!

I saw this too. I didn’t get to pick a choice this month so not sure what we are getting. We got the Octo last year but the boys share so an extra is always welcome but I would love the clock too. Actually I think all the older looking sneaks look good for us. This might be our last one unless they offer me another deal so we’ll see how it goes. I just have a hard time quitting them since I love getting it every month and the growing stash I have for when I need something.

I would love that clock. Time is something we need to work on!

I’m hoping for the night light too. I love the clock, but I don’t think my 23 month old will get that in his box this month. I think the clock and the fire truck puzzle are for ages 4+.

We have been looking for a nightlight! It would be great if we got that. But like others said, it all looks great this month. This will be our second box.

I am not sure it?s worth paying the full box price for each month though. Last month we loved almost everything but it was not worth $29. We could find most the items on sale elsewhere( I know, the fun is in being surprised each month, not in the price). But when I called to cancel last month they offered me a great deal for another month. I know it?s a sales pitch, but I really like and appreciated their customer service. I think we might be hooked for a bit.

I feel like you gotta get one of the long term deals. $29/month is a lot. I think mine works out to about $18/month for a year? Maybe it’s $15?? It’s pretty cheap.

I think you are right. We are going to try this month (although, I already know I love it) and then I think go for the annual subscription… It just makes more sense. Unlike OnStar, which I still pay far too much for monthly because I fear committing to an annual contract. Instead I prefer to pay far more just to have the convenience of canceling when ever I want…Which I have not done once in 4 years!

They sometimes they even better deals on one of the deal sites or around black friday for annual subscriptions too! You might want to wait!

  5. Susan

I would love to get the night lite. I’m guessing the girls selection may be different, so I’m curious to see what we get!

There is a pink one like that too!

Did anyone else receive their box? I read that 31 month olds received the night light, but we received a clock (3+) and bath pieces (18 mos). The clock was on clearance all summer at Target for $7.50, so my box only had a value of $34. So bummed. This might be our last month with CL.

We haven’t received our box yet, but the spoilers are already a let down:( I have already canceled my subscription after two disappointing months. I thought citrus lane was about bringing moms & kids new and exciting products but so far the brands are all brands we already SUPER familiar with and over an over again we end up with products we already own because the items they choose are some of the most popular toys for the most popular toy brands. SO popular in fact that like another mom mentioned many of the toys are available a big box discount stores or on clearance at places like target. It seems like citrus lane’s sweet spot is really introducing new moms to great baby products in the first year but after that I think they really miss the mark. I actually just stumbled upon an awesome subscription service out of Finland called Almondella. To have the box shipped to the US you do have to pay a little extra but the product quality and age appropriateness is SO MUCH better and you get to preview your box each month and decide if you want to have it sent or skip it.

I will check that one out! It sounds cool!

I got my box yesterday! Much better than the August box. Felt more substantial. My daughter is 2.5 and we got the Melissa and Doug clock puzzle, a book – “The Little Red Hen” that comes with a CD, a bath time toy (puzzle), a small snack, and something to download.
