September 2014 Kloverbox

Kloverbox, who kindly sent me this box for review, is a great way to try premium, all-natural and organic products for beauty, health, nutrition and convenience. Each month you will receive 6-8 premium products to sample, each from top brands and hand-picked by their health conscious curators. Boxes are $25/month and will have a value from $35 – $50.

The Box

Kloverbox ships via USPS Priority Mail between the 18th and 22nd of the month. They either shipped a bit early this month or I got my box early because it was for a review.

First Look

I enjoyed last month’s Kloverbox so I was curious to see what they would do this month.  I mention it every now and then, but I feel like you need to get three months of a subscription box before you can really decide if it’s a box you want to continue with or not. All boxes have amazing months and all boxes have off months.  You gotta check out a few months for yourself (or look back at reviews) to see if that’s a box for you.

The Information Card

The September 2014 Kloverbox theme included a selection of natural products to coincide with National Yoga Month.  Here is what was inside:

~LotusWei Infinite Love Serum ($10): I actually believe I have another vial of this serum somewhere.  I didn’t / haven’t used it long enough to see if it did anything (to sum it up it’s supposed to help make all those bad feelings go away), but now that I have two and can try it for longer I will.

LotusWei Infinite Love Serum

~Mineral Hygienics Mineral Blush (Bliss) ($18): Gorgeous blush color and love that it is 100% natural.

Mineral Hygienics Mineral Blush

~PuurBody Witches Brew Soap ($1.10): Charcoal soap is probably on of my favorite beauty discoveries of 2014.  It’s so odd to think you are rubbing charcoal on your face / body, but it works.

PuurBody Witches Brew Soap

~Waxelene The Petroleum Jelly Alternative ($3.99): Now I don’t know if this is the best lip balm ever, but it’s a great multi-use product.  WB has some chapped skin on his chin so I have been using this on it.  Works like a charm and he doesn’t mind at all when I apply it.

Waxelene The Petroleum Jelly Alternative

~Molly’s Suds Laundry Powder ($5.50): We actually received these in last month’s Kloverbox as well.  The information card says they are a Kloverbox favorite.  I used them last month and will use this again, but I won’t be switching from my Honest Co. pods.  They are just too convenient.

Molly’s Suds

~Rustic Maka Pachy Deodorant ($3.58): This deodorant is handcrafted with made-in-nature, organic and vegan ingredients. It smells good and, for the brief time I had it on, I thought it worked well.

~Pure Organic Cashew Chew Bar ($2.19): Not my favorite bar, but B will snack on it!

All totaled I came up with a value of $44.36 for the September 2014 Kloverbox.  The box also included a 30% coupon code for Gurus, which are natural rubber sandals, but I didn’t include the value of that since you still have to spend money to buy them.  However, I am really intrigued by them.  I can’t quite figure out how you walk in them?  That might be something to look into.  LOL!
