The Little Luxuries Box from Sunset45, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a monthly subscription box full of outfit-defining accessories. Each month you will enjoy up to $100 worth of little luxuries, from fine and boutique-quality jewelry to salon brand nail polish, delicious fragrances and more. You can opt for the “Lavish” box which is full of decadent adornments for girls who set trends and define taste or the “Classics” box which includes the perfect accessories and beauty items for girls who appreciate understated luxury.
The Little Luxuries Box ships via USPS Priority Mail and took just a few days to arrive. Packages are shipped during the first week of the month and typically arrive by the 15th.
The Little Luxuries box is fairly new so I didn’t know what to expect when I opened this box up. I knew to expect accessories, but I didn’t know what type.
Everything was packaged very nicely and looked great. From what I could tell, all of the pieces were wrapped in individually and came in their own jewelry boxes.
The September 2014 Little Luxuries “Classics” Box included the following items:
~“Oblitas” Crystal Chain (SPR $65): This chain is long (48 inches), so you can double it or wear it long. I will probably end up doubling mine up for the shorter look.
~Pave Bar Necklace (SRP $40): I didn’t do a very good job of capturing the pave detail, but trust me it’s there. This is a simple necklace, but it’s also very me, so I really like it.
~“Mellie” Pave Earrings (SRP $48): These are pave as well and I didn’t do a great job on the detail with these either. They aren’t really my style, so I will probably end up trading them.
~Absolute Nail Art Paint ($4.98): This brand is new to me, but I can always use more nail polish (I am kidding)! I have yet to master actual nail art (and probably never will), so I will likely just use the white as a base coat and the black with some glitter for Halloween.
~Absolute Gel Eyeliner ($4.99): You know how I feel about eyeliner, so this will likely end up traded! I am sure there are people who absolutely love trying all new eyeliners all the time, but I am not one of those people.
All totaled I came up with a value of $162.97 for the September 2014 The Little Luxuries Box. I used the suggested retail prices on the card, but at $35 for three pieces of jewelry and three cosmetic items, I didn’t think that was a bad deal at all!
