The Boodle Box, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a monthly subscription box full of adorable accessories and beauty products that encourage girls of all ages (boxes are broken down into a 5-10 age group and a 11+ age group) to uncover new things and discover themselves in the process! This box is for the 11+ age group, but don’t think it’s just for tweens / teens at all. I know a lot of adults that subscribe for themselves and love it!
The Boodle Box ships via USPS Priority Mail and always takes just two days to arrive. For whatever reason (probably because I was so excited to open it up) I didn’t take a first look picture, but everything arrived perfectly packaged and looked great.
The October 2014 The Boodle Box theme was “SPOOKtacular” and included the following BOO-tiful treats:
~White Bling Chevron Watch ($12): I don’t wear a watch on a regular basis, but I believe I did when I was younger. And I would have loved this! I think if I did wear a watch, it would be a silicone / rubber one like this.
~Rhinestone Ghost Necklace ($7.50): How cute is this? I love it! It’s perfect for this month and is just adorable. I love it!
~Fantasy Maker RIP Nail Polish by Wet n Wild ($1.99): I actually bought this color (and the rest of the colors they offered) last Halloween. And it really does glow. You need to use a couple of coats, but it works and is really neat.
~Hard Candy Foiled Again Shadow Sticks ($18): I love that they include age appropriate items like this. These eye shadow sticks are not only perfect for tweens and teens, they are fun for everyone and the colors are great.
~Silver Snake Ear Cuff ($14.99): I thought this was a ring at first and just figured my fingers were too big for it. LOL! It’s not though, it’s an ear cuff. It’s a cool Halloween accessory and like the information card says, perfect for girls who don’t have pierced ears.
~Sunny Side Up Silicone Egg Mold by Fred ($9.95): I cannot wait to make the kids breakfast with this! Maybe this weekend? I am thinking I will do pancakes in it and use two different color batters. I will make sure to take a picture.
~Black and White Chevron Infinity Scarf ($14.99): Of course I love this. I need to take a picture of my scarf collection because it’s getting pretty big and I don’t wear them nearly as much as I should. I will try and fix that this fall!
All totaled I came up with a value of $79.42 for the October 2014 The Boodle Box and I absolutely loved it. I swear it’s a great box for all ages. And like I say every month, why didn’t they have this when I was younger? I am pretty sure I could have talked my mom into letting me subscribe!
What do you think of The Boodle Box? If you are interested in subscribing or just want to learn more, click here. They also have launched their shop and have individual items from past boxes, some limited edition themed boxes, previous months boxes and more in there! Totally check it out!
Great box, and you’re right, I’d use everything myself (and I’m FAR from being a teen lol).
I LOVE the ghost necklace. Hopefully you do a giveaway contest with that in it. Is it wrong that I really like the items in the box even though I am 42?
The necklace is now up for sale in the shop, as well as lots of the other cute items from this October box! Thanks for all of the LOVE! 🙂
That’s a great box! I’m not a teen, but I’d use it all…my daughter would love the little ghost necklace (she’s only 3).
Can one still snag this box?
Yup…check out the shop tomorrow! 🙂 http://www.theboodlebox.com (click on “shop”)
Thanks!!
What a great box! I’m nowhere near a teenager but I’d use every single item in this box! I love, love, love that scarf!!
I’m telling you, this box rocks!
Oh, I can’t wait to get mine! It took some kind of crazy trip around the country: FL ->CA->CT->MA, and hopefully back to CT (to ME!) tomorrow. Fingers crossed it makes it! I love that scarf, I nearly bought one recently! Glad I waited.
My Yogi Surprise went on a little trip this month too! It must have been bored 😉
Such a cute perfect Halloween box.
Totally!
You should do a giveaway of this sub. I think the people behind the sub are doing a great job curating it.
I really should!
I’ve been reading your reviews for months and I have to say this box consistently is one of the best curated boxes on the market…at 50 I am a little too old for pulling off the items they offer but I definately think most items are perfect for girls and women all the way up to late 30s or so. Really really cute and well thought items, month after month. Pop Sugar and Social Bliss need to follow suit! (or Boodle Box needs to come up with a monthly box for the old broads! 🙂 )
My 7 yr old daughter has several sub boxes. This one is her absolute favorite. She has received 3 so far. Every last one of them has blown both of us away! I wish they had one for adults! I get just as much pleasure, if not more when opening this box with her as I do when we open my sub boxes with her. This has really boosted her self esteem.
I wish they had an adult one too. It would be fantastic.
