Celebrate American Made, who kindly sent me this box to review, has recently done a bit of revamping. Previously they sent a monthly box full of items from that month’s selected state for $39.95/month. Instead of that monthly box, they now offer a quarterly box which is full of the best American made products, from snacks to home goods, pets and everything in between. Boxes are now $15/quarter and ship for free. They also have a plans to launch a monthly American Made Beauty box and I will, of course, let you know when that is available.
Celebrate American Made ships via USPS. The USA Every Day Box ships quarterly on November 1st, February 1st, May 1st and August 1st. If you subscribe between now and January 31st, you will receive the November box as long as it is not sold out. Once sold out your subscription will begin with the February box.
Before I received this box I didn’t know too much about their revamp so I was really curious to check out the changes and see what was inside.
The November 2014 Celebrate American Made USA Every Day box included the following items:
~Kidecals Keycals Keyboard Stickers (Boulder, CO) ($9): These are little stickers that go on your keyboard (macs only) to dress it up a bit. This set has stickers for the L-O-V-E buttons, plus the space bar, Shift x 2, Tab, Delete and Enter and three more blank ones to use as you please. And yeah, I am obsessed with them. Obsessed. I posted a picture of them on Instragram the other day and they were a big hit there too. I already ordered another set for my laptop.
~SLATHERlotions (Chandler, AZ) ($2.40): This is an all natural scrub which is handmade in Chandler, AZ in small batches to ensure that it is of the finest quality. It smelled great and left my skin feeling smoother than it was before. Good stuff!
~Tattoo Sales (Tuscon, AZ) (~$10): I should have taken pictures of the rest of the tattoos in here. There were a ton. Frozen, Cars, arm bands, pumpkins, etc. Just a ton of fun tattoos. I wrongly assumed that all tattoos were made overseas, but not these! My kids are going to have a ball with all of these!
~Seattle Chocolates (Seattle, WA) (~$1): I can confirm that these are delicious. I preferred the toffee flavor over the espresso, but they were both good.
~Simply Divine Bakery (Ferdinand, IN) ($0.50): I am fairly certain this is the first time I have ever had a cookie which was made in a monastery bakery! It’s a good cookie, but I bet it would be even better fresh out of the oven. I mean what cookies aren’t?
~Surf Sweets (Wheeling, IL) (~$1): These are also delicious. I am saving these for L’s lunch next week, but we’ll all had them in the past and have found them to be yummy.
~Spa Secrets 4 U Original Thalasso Spa Treatment (North Ogden, UT) (~$3): This soap specifically targets premature aged skin, which is basically me! I haven’t used it long enough to tell a difference, but I am keeping my fingers crossed.
~Your True Nature (Fort Collins, CO): Your True Nature features an assortment of eco-friendly gifts which are all made in the USA!
All totaled I came up with an estimated value of $26.90 for the November 2014 Celebrate American Made Every Day USA Box. I thought this box was awesome and could not be more pleased with those keyboard stickers. I can for sure say that these have been one of the best subscription box discoveries I have received to date!
