Sudsy Box, who kindly sent me this box for review, contains 3 full sized soap bars from Heidi’s Artisan Soap and one sample of a lip balm, lotion bar, sea salt scrub or body butter. The soaps will vary and will be themed to the season of the shipment.

The Box

Sudsy Box ships bi-monthly via USPS Priority Mail. Boxes are shipped during the beginning of all even months.  Before I even took this box out of the outer packaging, I could smell it.  It was probably the most scented box I have ever received!

The Information Card

The December 2014 Sudsy Box included the following items:

~Balsam Fir ($6): I like the smell of this one, but I don’t know if I really want to smell like Balsam Fir.  I do, however, want B to smell like it!  It’s on the strong side, but it’s not like you are going to be mistaken for a Christmas tree or anything.

~Rosemary Peppermint ($6): This scent and the Balsam Fir one above were what I smelled when I got this box.  I love the rosemary – peppermint combination and think they compliment each other quite well.

~Honey Almond Oatmeal ($6): Easily my favorite bar in the box this month.  I love that you can see the actual oatmeal in it, I love the smell, I just love it all.

~Peppermint Glossy Lip Balm ($3): I don’t know if it’s the season or what, but I have been addicted to Peppermint lip gloss lately.  I normally don’t love it, but I have been using it a ton the last few weeks. This one smells awesome and really did leave my lips glossy.

All totaled I came up with a value of $21 for the December 2014 Sudsy Box.  Not only are their soaps fantastic, but they do an amazing job of including seasonal soaps in the boxes.  The scents included this month are absolutely perfect for this time of year!

Nice! I love Sudsy Box — the soaps are really gentle and moisturizing on my skin. They always seem to time it just right so that I am needing new soaps when the next box shows up 🙂

I can’t wait for my box to arrive and decide which soap to try out first.

(unrelated to the sudsy box but related to the peppermint stuff….) have you seen the candy cane chapsticks at target?? they were out last year and I LOVED them and now they’re back again! I’m going to have to pick up another package just to have on hand.

Handcrafted soap. Just like in Fight Club.
