November 2014 Nicky Hilton Fancy Box
November 2014 Nicky Hilton Fancy Box

My November 2014 Nicky Hilton Fancy Box arrived a bit ago. I was anxious to see what was in it since my November Kelly Rowland box (I haven’t gotten my review done on it yet) was more like a Fancy Mystery Box than a celebrity curated box. It was quite random and I was hoping this was not the same.

Just in case you aren’t familiar, Fancy, which is $39/month (plus shipping), has a “regular” Fancy Box full of cool goodies and celebrity curated boxes which include a collection of the coolest products hand-picked by Nicky Hilton (which is their latest celebrity collaboration) Jennifer Love HewittVerbalKelly RowlandCoco RochaSnoop DoggT-Pain and / or The Rockettes. They also offer a Fancy Food Box (which I love), a Culinary Box and Fancy Mystery Boxes.

The Box

Fancy Box ships via FedEx and took the normal two days to get to me.  It left the East Coast on Monday and I received it today (Wednesday).

First Look

The first look was, well, random.  And pretty familiar actually.  I recognized a lot of the items from other Fancy Boxes which I wasn’t overly excited about.  As has been the trends lately, the November 2014 Nicky Hilton Fancy Box didn’t have an information card.  I don’t know  what is going on with Fancy, but is certainly has me curious.

Here is what the November 2014 Nicky Hilton Fancy Box included:

~Cilio Chocolate Fondue Set ($30): I received this set (in red) in the December 2013 Fancy Food Box.  It’s a cute little set and it does work, but I don’t need two.

Cilio Chocolate Fondue Set

~Gama Go Cool Pop Spatula ($4.80): The regular price on this is $12, but it’s on sale on Fancy right now for $4.80. I believe I have received this in a few Fancy boxes, with one of them being the October 2013 Jennifer Love Hewitt Box.  I used to have a thing for buying spatulas (so weird I know), so I had a ton of them, but I am over it.  Whoever I give the fondue set to will also get this spatula.  Or maybe I will take them both up-north.

Gama Go Cool Pop Spatula

~Tea Duckie Tea Infuser ($6): The regular price on this is $15, but it’s on sale for $6 on Fancy right now.  This is totally cute, but I don’t like tea and I really can’t see B taking this to work and drinking tea with a duck floating in his cup.

~Sweater Mug (~$10): Now this I like!  I received the cup and saucer that matches this in a Fancy box once, but I like this mug better. It’s already in my cupboard.

Sweater Mug

~Macaroon Trinket Box ($20): I actually received this in the October 2013 Jennifer Love Hewitt box too.  I don’t mind these repeat though because I sent the first one to my friend Stacey.  This is really cute and well made.  And I love the pink.

All totaled I came up with a value of $70.80 for the November 2014 Nicky Hilton Fancy Box.  I liked this box better than my November Kelly Rowland one, but I didn’t think it at all felt like a celebrity curated box.  The number of repeats from previous Fancy Boxes was highly disappointing and so was the fact that a few of the items are “on sale” right now on Fancy.  I have an e-mail into Fancy about this and I will update you when I hear back!

Did you get the November Nicky Hilton Fancy Box?  What’d you think?  Did you have any variations? If you are thinking of ordering this or ANY of the Fancy Boxes, click here and get on it! If you can’t find the Fancy Box you are looking for, I suggest just doing search for “Fancy Box“. It’s much easier than trying to navigate their site and you’ll be able to find all the fancy boxes there, as well as, the Mystery Boxes.
