November 2014 Bespoke Post - Slate
November 2014 Bespoke Post – Slate

This has been such a fun mail week and it included the arrival of B’s November 2014 Bespoke Post box.

In case you aren’t familiar with them, Bespoke Post delivers fresh and interesting lifestyle brands and products to men. Each month, you’ll get to choose from their limited-edition boxes filled with an array of products built around a central, unique theme. Don’t want one that month? Just skip the month (you can opt out during the first 5 days of the month) and you won’t be charged.

The Box

Bespoke Post ships using a variety of methods.  This month’s box shipped via UPS Sure Post and took under a week to arrive.

The packaging on this month’s box was serious business.  It did insure though that everything arrived in perfect condition.

The Information Card

The November 2014 Bespoke Post options were Slate, which included a small-batch goodies sure to impress when you are hosting friends and Brim, which included a few items to help you warm up while the weather gets colder.  They also brought back Refresh this month, which is an old favorite that brings you items to help out with your morning routine.  B opted for Slate which consisted of the following:

~Slate Board by Brooklyn Slate ($33): We actually have one of these already and love it.  Ours is the single size though, while this one is larger. They will make an awesome set!  It’s a cool serving piece and I really like that you can write on it using the included chalk so people know what you are serving.

~Sopressata Creminelli ($12): Bespoke Post gave subscribers the option this month between salami or pickles.  That was a total no-brainer here.  We went for salami. We had a fun cheese / meat spread for the MSU game last weekend, and maybe we will do it again this weekend with this!

~Olive Oil ($6.69) & Balsamic Vinegar from Old Town Oil ($7.08): We go through so much olive here.  I swear B is always buying more when.  And he loves balsamic vinegar on salads too.  And I know some of the recipes he uses will call for it every once in a while so it will come in handy.

~Garlic Dill Mustard by Mustard and Co. ($7): I am sure if you like mustard you would enjoy getting this.  Now I am not a fan, so I will be let B enjoy it on his own.

~Peanut Brittle from Buffalo Trace ($5): This is a smoky & sweet peanut brittle and is best eaten with a side of whiskey.  I am sure B will be happy to make that happen.

~Bourbon Toothpicks by Daneson ($8.99): I am tempted to use these as a stocking stuffer for B because I know he will think they are cool, but once he’s sees the information card for this box he will know I snagged them.

The box also included a Holiday Gift Guide which had a little sneak peek of the Bespoke Post Black Friday offer on it!  From the looks of it, they will be offering a Bespoke Post “Black Box” which is a mini box of secret stocking worthy goods.  It doesn’t include any details on a price, but last year they offered a free Black Box with your purchase of $45 on Black Friday (you can check out the box I received through that deal here).

All totaled I came up with a value of $79.76 for the November 2014 Bespoke Post.  I thought this was an awesome box and we will get a ton of use out of that slate board!  I love it!
