Kloverbox ships via USPS Priority Mail between the 18th and 22nd of the month.
This month’s Kloverbox was larger than normal and was quite heavy! I had peeked online so I knew what was in this box, but I was still surprised by the weight of it.
The December 2014 included the following Kloverbox favorites:
~Grace Green Beauty Body Food ($34.99): I keep reading this container as baby food. LOL. But it is so not! It’s a super luxurious body butter. It’s very thick and smells great as well. It includes a stick to stir it up because separation is normal with this.
~Befine Food Skin Care Lip Serum ($18): Love! This is an awesome lip serum. It helps soften lips and the skin around the lips. It hasn’t been too nasty here yet this year, but it’s coming and we’ll all need this.
~Grain Bath & Home Room Spray in Cinnamon, Clove & Orange ($7): I sprayed this in the house as soon as I opened the box. It smells awesome. It’s holiday like, but not so much so that you can’t use it all year!
~Ellison’s Organics 5-FREE Crystal Clear Top Coat ($6): I have finally started using a top coat on a regular basis. It really does help your polish stay chip-free longer! This top coat is 5-free and will be used tomorrow when I do my nails for Christmas!
All totaled I came up with a value of $65.99 for the December 2014 Kloverbox. I think this was my favorite box from them to date! It “only” had 4 products in it, but they are all fabulous and will be used this winter!

I must be like the only person who doesn’t like that lip serum. But I used it for a week or two (got it in some box or other, don’t remember which as it’s been awhile) and it really messed up my lips. Made them all sensitive and peeling. Which is weird, because I couldn’t pinpoint anything in the ingredients list I would have expected a reaction to.
Topcoats are great but my favorite (Seche Vite fast dry) has toluene in it. I haven’t found anything that works better, though. It helps if you put a new layer on every night.
I LOVE Seche Vite! That stuff works so well!
My 6 year old and I opened this together. We opened the stirrer first and tried to figure out what we would use it for because at the time we did not know it was for the body food. I like that she writes my name on the tag. It is a nice touch. My son used the twine to hang clay ornaments that he made (Kiwi Crate) on the tree. I like the green print and snow flakes on the card along with the title “These are a few of our favorite things!” She does a great job with the info card with the website, description, discount code. I also like that the codes don’t expire until the middle of February.
I’ve been using the body food since the day the package arrived and like it! It also helped clear up my congestion. The room spray has a great holiday scent to it. It was thoughtful to send a top coat. I have so many nail polishes and one top coat. I haven’t tried the lip serum yet.
I’m impressed with the curation. The owner came up with items that are useful and a few that are not commonly found in subs. I appreciated that she included a top coat instead of a nail polish because even I have lots of nail polishes now. The boys missed having a food item, but that is a minor point.
I didn’t get it at first either. My lotion looked perfectly fine but but does make sense.
I tried applying the coupon code to the 1 month subscription, but it didn’t work. 🙁
I will check into it! Thanks for the heads up!
